Russian Railways told about the heroic deed of the train engineer who died after the collapse of the bridge in the Bryansk region.

Pavel Mishin immediately applied emergency braking, noticing the obstacle, and ordered his assistant to take cover in the engine room.

By sacrificing himself, he was able to reduce the speed of the train by the time of the collision and save hundreds of passengers' lives.

Today, Pavel Mishin was buried with a large number of local people in attendance.
