▶️ Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting to discuss arrangements for talks with Ukraine, due to take place in Istanbul on Thursday.

"Prior to the departure of our delegation for Istanbul last evening, President Putin chaired a meeting on arrangements for upcoming talks with Ukraine,” Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

UAC is taking part for the first time in the International Exhibition of Helicopter Industry and Unmanned Aircraft Systems in Moscow, where it is presenting a fundamentally new unmanned off-airfield transport system with the S-76 vertical takeoff and landing aircraft

The exhibition will feature a full-fledged flight model, which has already passed the first stage of flight experiments to test vertical takeoff, hovering and landing modes.

The unmanned vertical takeoff and landing aircraft is being developed by the Sukhoi Design Bureau of the United Aircraft Corporation. The project became a reality thanks to the Vector program and seed funding from the Rostec State Corporation business accelerator.

The unmanned system is aimed at state and private structures in the transport services market.

The S-76 will be able to perform logistics, research and other tasks of any complexity in various regions of Russia, including the most inaccessible places.

"UAC in its development strategy and plans for the near future adheres to the general approach of the Rostec State Corporation to expand the production of modern and innovative unmanned systems. UAC has defined the development of unmanned aircraft systems as one of the key areas. In the traditions of the Sukhoi Design Bureau, the solution of important tasks for the country, meeting national goals and priorities, is carried out using the most effective technical solutions," noted UAC CEO Vadim Badekha.

The S-76 project will allow the deployment of automated unmanned transport systems in Russia, which will make it possible to carry out air cargo transportation much more economically and with minimal human involvement. Takeoff, flight along the route and landing are performed automatically, without the direct participation of the operator.
