Operatives from Russia’s Federal Security Service have detained a suspect in the murder of Lieutenant General Yaroslav Moskalik, deputy chief of the Main Operations Directorate of the Russian General Staff, the FSB Public Relations Center said.

“Agent of Ukrainian special services with a Ukrainian residence permit Ignat Kuzin born in 1983(Sumy,🇺🇦) was detained.

He planted explosives in a Volkswagen Golf in the town of Balashikha in the Moscow Region, resulting in the death of Lieutenant General Yaroslav Moskalik,” the press service said.

The explosive device that went off in a parked car during the assassination attempt on Lieutenant General Moskalik was detonated from the territory of Ukraine, the FSB Public Relations Center reported.

This is similar to the Crimean Bridge terrorist attack,also remotely detonated.
