Today we presented to Pope Leo XIV a special icon — “The Mother of God with the Child,” painted on a fragment of a heavy artillery ammunition box brought from Izyum, — President Zelenskyy.

“It is about our children. About those who suffered from the war, who were deliberately kidnapped and deported by Russia and who are very much awaited at home, in Ukraine.

We pray for the lives of all our deported children and hope for the support of the Vatican in this matter, so that everyone — both children and Ukrainian prisoners — can return home.”

Теперь, что касается «угрозы Сумам».

На данный момент, особых устремлений оперативного масштаба и характера в действиях российских войск на территории украинского приграничья в Сумской области, связанных с желанием «взять Сумы», ПОКА не просматривается.

Тем более, что с объективной точки зрения, для того чтобы хотя бы ПОПЫТАТЬСЯ это осуществить, командованию противника надо выполнить две «предварительные» задачи, а именно:

- Захватить и УДЕРЖАТЬ удобные (необходимые) районы и рубежи для проведения оперативного развёртывания, соответствующего оперативному «громадью» задачи по «захвату Сум», объёма и состава группировки (группировок).
- А главное, найти для неё ДОПОЛНИТЕЛЬНЫЕ силы и средства. Ибо в нынешнем своём составе группа войск противника «Курск» подходит исключительно для «буферизации» нашего приграничья, не более того.

Я вполне допускаю наличие у российского командования неких оперативных замыслов (планов) по «прорыву на Сумы». Однако, согласитесь, между «хотеть» и «быть способным» всё же пролегает определённая дистанция.

В нынешних условиях войны «довесить» к группе войск одну дополнительную мотострелковую дивизию (пускай, с парочкой приданных мобилизационных полков), вовсе не означает – «завтра берём Сумы».

Что бы было нагляднее, предлагаю сравнить с этим следующие показатели.
2.5 общевойсковых армии противника уже более полугода «берут» Покровск, ещё 2 – всё никак не могут «дозахватить» Торецк, 2 армии (в том числе, одна «уникальная», действительно, не имеющая себе аналогов в остальных армиях мира, танковая) в такие же сроки «берут Купянск» и т.д.

Поэтому, в отношении «перспективы взять Сумы», возня 1(ОДНОЙ) пускай даже ДОПОЛНИТЕЛЬНОЙ мсд противника в приграничной полосе Сумской области, простите, но не впечатляет. Не говоря уже о том, что Сумы, это всё-таки не Покровск и не Торецк.
