👉 The official was considered an experienced and influential figure within Mossad. Reports suggest that during David Barnea's tenure, he was seen as a leading candidate to succeed Barnea as head of the agency. Some Hebrew sources have also reported that he was involved in efforts to oppose Gofman's appointment, working alongside Barnea and certain legal officials in the cabinet to block the decision.

✍️ The dismissed deputy has been serving as the second-in-command at Mossad in recent months and played a role in several sensitive operational and strategic files, including those related to Iran.

🇱🇧/🇮🇱🗺 Israeli Army Attacks Mifdoun; Only 3 Kilometers to Nabatieh!

🔺Israeli army armored convoys launched a heavy assault on the town of Mifdoun in the southern outskirts of Nabatieh starting early this morning. Currently, Israeli armored convoys have reached the outskirts of Mifdoun, just three kilometers south of the city of Nabatieh, and Hezbollah is confronting them using a range of weaponry, including artillery, rockets, and FPV drones.

➡️ The city of Nabatieh remains a primary target for the Israeli army in southern Lebanon.
