I want to congratulate Abelardo De La Espriella for his victory in the first round of the Colombian elections, and the Colombian people for this exemplary electoral day.

This result reflects the yearning for freedom and progress of the Colombian people, and an explicit will to say enough to the failed socialist model that has caused so much damage to our region, and to Colombia in particular, over the last 4 years.

If this result is repeated in the second round, I have no doubt that Colombia will rejoin the concert of Free Nations, and will resume a path oriented toward the defense of life, liberty, and property.

Reports indicate that Joesley Batista traveled to Caracas for meetings with Venezuelan leaders, including Nicolás Maduro and later Delcy Rodríguez, while maintaining dialogue with officials connected to the government of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

🇨🇳 The Batista brothers also accompanied Brazilian government initiatives aimed at expanding economic relations with China, participating in discussions involving greater Chinese investment and market expansion in Brazil. Their presence became particularly visible during negotiations linked to trade agreements, agribusiness exports, and broader economic cooperation carried out in coordination with Chinese authorities and the Chinese Communist Party.
