💥 Deep Stike SSO hit a key node of the largest oil pipelines from Siberia to Europe

Located almost 1,200 km from the Ukrainian border, Lazarevo LVDS in the Kirov region is a key point of the Surgut-Polotsk oil pipeline.

This artery transports oil from Siberia and the north of the Russian Federation to the Baltic ports of Primorsk, Ust-Luga and Belarus.

The station also connects to the Druzhba main pipeline system, which allows the enemy to quickly pump oil between the two largest oil pipelines in the European part of the Russian Federation.

In another series of strikes, long-range drones from the SSO Deep-strike units also hit the Agroproduct oil depot in the town of Matveyev Kurgan, Rostov Region.

This oil depot, which is located almost directly next to the border with Ukraine, is home to large tanks, automobile and rail bulk terminals, and a loading station.

🇩🇪🇫🇷 Germany and France are increasingly discussing nuclear deterrence, — Der Spiegel.

The adviser to Merz on security issues left for Paris the day before to participate in the first round of negotiations on closer cooperation in the field of nuclear deterrence.

The German government considers the French "umbrella" only as a supplement to the conventional US deterrence within the framework of NATO agreements on the distribution of nuclear weapons, Der Spiegel emphasizes.

In addition to Germany, France also intends to cooperate more closely on nuclear deterrence with the United Kingdom, Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium and Greece. Nine European countries have already applied for France's nuclear protection, including Norway, Poland and Lithuania.
Ukraine’s May 31 strike on the Saratov refinery caused at least three confirmed hits, damaging the ELOU-AVT-6 primary oil processing unit and two storage tanks. Disabling the unit can sharply limit further crude processing.

🇮🇳🇻🇳 India signs BrahMos deal

India has signed a deal to supply BrahMos missiles to Vietnam, while a similar agreement with Indonesia is in the final stages, Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh said at the Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore. He said India has a strong commitment to Asean nations as it expands BrahMos exports beyond earlier sales to the Philippines.

The BrahMos is a supersonic cruise missile jointly developed by India and Russia and has become a key export product in India’s push to expand domestic defence manufacturing and overseas arms sales. A source had previously said the Vietnam deal could be worth about 60 billion rupees (US$629 million), including training and logistical support, linking the sale to India’s broader defence ties with Southeast Asia.

The agreement adds Vietnam to the list of regional buyers of the BrahMos system and signals further Indian defence market penetration in maritime Southeast Asia.

❗️🇺🇦Putin finds himself in a “zugzwang” as Ukraine’s position improves — WP

Since the beginning of this year, Russia has seized about 0.04% of Ukraine’s territory, and in April Putin’s forces suffered net territorial losses.

The Economist estimates that by this month, the human toll from more than four years of aggression had amounted to about 3% of Russia’s prewar male population of military age, killed or wounded.

Many Russian soldiers receive minimal training, as their (often short) lives on the front line require little.

70% of Russia’s population is within the range of Ukrainian drones, which is almost 2,000 km. In March, for the first time, the number of cross-border drone attacks from Ukraine exceeded the number of attacks from Russia.

A former senior Russian official, writing anonymously for The Economist, notes that the war Russia has launched has reached a point known in chess as a “zugzwang,” when every move makes the situation worse.

🥔🇺🇦 Lukashenko: The Ukrainian military doesn't want any war with Belarus.

I know this for sure because they understand that it's another 1,000 kilometers of front, a border.

And it's not an easy border, the one between Belarus and Ukraine. Do they need that? No.
Two 50,000 cubic meter tanks at Lazarevo pipeline station are likely on fire, putting up to 100,000 cubic meters of oil at risk, CyberBoroshno reports. The station is a key Transneft hub for Siberian oil transit to central Russia.

🇳🇪 Niger struggles to sell uranium after state takeover

Niger’s military authorities, who presented the seizure of uranium stocks at the SOMAÏR site in November 2025 as a move to reclaim national resources, have been unable to secure a buyer for the material, according to The Africa Report. State television broadcast General Abdourahamane Tiani on 30 November 2025 saying Niger was bringing its production to the international market, three days after French nuclear group Orano denounced the illegal transport of uranium stored at SOMAÏR.

The dispute is part of a broader standoff between Niger’s junta and Orano following the July 2023 coup. SOMAÏR is located near Arlit, in northern Niger, a major uranium-producing area.
