🇺🇦⚓️ Syrskyi: The presence of the Russian fleet in the Black and Azov Seas has been practically leveled.
During a working trip to Odesa, I met with the leadership and officers of the Naval Forces.
Visited the units of the Navy's strike forces - the coastal anti-ship missile systems "Neptun", as well as the units of defense of ports and sea communications.
The role of unmanned systems is becoming decisive in all domains, including at sea. Therefore, our task is to scale up production, quickly implement new solutions, and act ahead of schedule.
Another important direction is the creation of an Integrated Maritime Awareness System with the unification of all sensors of ministries and departments of Ukraine operating at sea.

Botswana’s government and De Beers have appointed former African Development Bank president Akinwumi Adesina as chairperson of the Diamonds for Development Fund, set up to ensure Botswana benefits more from its diamond wealth. The fund was established during negotiations that concluded in 2025 to extend mining licences for Debswana, the 50:50 Botswana-De Beers joint venture, through to 2054. De Beers has committed an upfront BWP 1 billion, equivalent to $74.4m, as well as annual contributions from its Debswana dividends based on performance. Adesina will formally assume the role on 15 June 2026.
Adesina served as AfDB president from 2015 until the end of his second term in September 2025, while the fund is still finalising the appointment of independent directors to its board.
