Следствием установлено, что в 2020-2026 годах Кошкарев в составе преступной группы организовал изготовление не менее 30 предметов искусства без согласия правообладателей авторских прав от имени художника и скульптора Эрнста Неизвестного.

В этот период участники группы в Москве, Петербурге, Мурманской и Московской областях, а также за границей продавали эти картины и скульптуры частным коллекционерам, получив не менее 90 млн рублей.

В Новой Третьяковке на Крымском валу с 16 декабря 2025 года по 12 мая 2026 года проходила выставка Эрнста Неизвестного, приуроченная к столетию со дня рождения скульптора.
