🛢 Russia is considering imposing an embargo on the export of jet fuel and diesel fuel in addition to the current ban on gasoline exports.

According to RBC, the issue was discussed at a meeting on Tuesday with Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak.

Sources in the oil industry report that the restrictions may come into force in the near future and will be in effect for one to two months.

The reason was the decline in domestic fuel production due to regular strikes on Russia's energy infrastructure.
