⚡️🇪🇺🇺🇦 The Verkhovna Rada ratified a loan agreement with the EU for 90 billion euros

The People's Deputies adopted the document as a basis and a total of 298 people's deputies. It concerns attracting financial assistance to Ukraine up to 90 billion euros for 2026-2027.

To receive the money, Ukraine signed a list of specific obligations. The official document contains a long list of structural changes in the tax and customs spheres, divided into different tranches.

⚡️The US Embassy denied reports that it was leaving Ukraine and said it continues to operate.

“The US Embassy is open. There are no changes to our operations, and reports claiming otherwise are false.

There is no higher priority for the State Department than the safety and security of US citizens, and we regularly review the security situation at the US Embassy in Kyiv.

We reiterate that US citizens should not travel to Ukraine for any reason due to the armed conflict,” the statement said.

These funds will strengthen our resilience and help protect the lives of our people, restore what was destroyed after Russian strikes, and defend our independence.

One of the most important votes, which demonstrates the constructiveness of our joint work and readiness to hear each other. Unity in Ukraine is what always works for Ukraine.

I am also grateful to our European partners for their readiness to be with Ukraine and effectively assist our defense, our diplomacy, and our reconstruction.

Ukraine’s government allocated 10.8B UAH, about €220M, for weapons and defense industry needs. Around €185M will fund new weapons, repairs and modernization, while nearly €40M goes to new tech and expanding defense production.

Ukraine’s General Staff said Defense Forces struck several Russian military and infrastructure targets overnight into May 27. Tuapse refinery in Krasnodar Krai was hit, with a fire reported at the site. Storm Shadow missiles struck elements of Russian Air Force intelligence systems near Voronezh, Taganrog and Sevastopol. Ukrainian forces also hit command posts in Luhansk, a logistics depot, drone production, Nebo-SV radar and Buk-M2 elements.
