It is expected that after the deal is completed, the state will retain control over the company. However, its share will be significantly reduced - from 73.8% to about 50%.
Due to tough international sanctions, Russian civil aviation has found itself in a crisis. Airlines are facing a shortage of spare parts, rapid aging of the aircraft fleet and rising maintenance costs.

Over the past week, the Israeli military has intensified its operations north of the Litani River and along the Syrian-Lebanese border.
A. After establishing a foothold in much of Zawtar El Charqiyeh, the IDF advanced eastward, entering southern Yohmor and pushing toward Arnoun (where they were repelled by Hezbollah); and northward toward Nabatiyeh.
B. Israeli forces resumed their advance north of Khiam, reaching the Hasbaya-Marjayoun road and the outskirts of Marjayoun itself.
C. Using occupied Syrian territory, Israeli troops have carried out new operations, advancing on the heights overlooking Halta as well as the heights overlooking Majidiye.

Putin is retreating on the battlefield in Ukraine, according to Anne Keast-Butler, head of the British intelligence agency GCHQ, as quoted by The Guardian.
She said that nearly 500,000 Russian troops have been killed since the start of the full-scale war.
The newspaper notes that this is the first time a senior British official has publicly confirmed intelligence estimates of Russian losses in Ukraine during the fifth year of the full-scale invasion.
Keast-Butler also warned that “Russia is intensifying its daily hybrid activity against the UK and Europe,” targeting undersea infrastructure, cyberspace, critical infrastructure, democratic processes, and supply chains.
“But let me be clear: in the face of such aggression and chaos, GCHQ is working tirelessly with partners to weaken and reduce the Russian threat.
We are also preventing Russia’s attempts to smuggle Western technology,” she added.
