The Mission of “Democratic Belarus” in Ukraine has officially opened in Kyiv, Belarusian opposition leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya announced.

She said the opening marks an important step toward closer and more systematic cooperation between the two countries.

The mission will be headed by Sviatlana Shatilina. Tsikhanouskaya wished her success in the role.

“I am grateful to everyone who helped create this mission.

We must do more to support Ukraine — politically, informationally, through cooperation with Ukrainian institutions, support for Belarusian volunteers and fighters, and assistance to Belarusians living in Ukraine.

This mission will make our work more consistent and visible. It will become a platform for dialogue, practical cooperation, and support.

It will help Ukrainians understand who they can work with, and help Belarusians in Ukraine know where to turn.

A free Belarus and a free Ukraine are part of the same future,” she wrote.

The Oct. 4, 2025 operation took place as the vessel moved by inland waterways from the Baltic Sea toward the Caspian, where it was likely intended to reinforce Russia’s southern fleet grouping. A video of the strike was released only now.

🇺🇦 Aid to Ukraine will be a top topic of the NATO summit!

The Head of the Mission of Ukraine to NATO, Olena Getmanchuk, reported that one of the key issues remains the proposal of Rutte to allocate 0.25% of GDP to aid Ukraine by the Alliance member states.

She noted that currently seven NATO states have already reached or exceeded this level of funding.
Zelensky said Commander-in-Chief Syrskyi and General Staff chief Hnatov briefed him on the situation and options for Ukraine’s actions in Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and the south. He said Ukraine is receiving more internal Russian information about preparations for additional mobilization, aimed at compensating for heavy losses and increasing the occupation force by at least tens of thousands.
