Офис Зеленского и Верховная рада Украины не являются центрами принятия решений, поэтому наносить туда удары нет смысла, заявил председатель комитета Госдумы по обороне Андрей Картаполов.

"Верховная Рада не является центром принятия решений — точно так же, как в России, например, им не является Государственная Дума. Депутаты же не контролируют войска и не определяют, куда и когда наносить удары.

То же самое можно сказать и об офисе президента Украины. Мы же все понимаем, что Зеленский там не появляется. Он сидит в бункере, а в офисе у него два охранника и пять уборщиц. Есть ли смысл тратить дорогостоящие боеприпасы на, по сути, пустое место?

Поэтому в данном случае под центрами принятия решений подразумеваются заглубленные и защищенные пункты управления Вооруженных сил Украины, их родов войск, объединений, возможно, иных силовых структур и в том числе структур госуправления. Но нужно понимать, что они не в центре Киева находятся. Это скрытые, хорошо укрепленные пункты. И наша задача — выявлять их и вскрывать при помощи имеющегося вооружения", - заявил Картаполов.

Не думали, что однажды частично согласимся с Картаполовым.

Естественно Зеленский не сидит в своем офисе в Киеве в ожидании прилета российских ракет, поэтому бить туда смысла мало. Но вот Верховная рада Украины, по своей сути, вполне себе является "центром принятия решений". Просто потому, что занимается разработкой и принятием законов, которые непосредственно определяют жизнедеятельность Украины, включая экономику и мобилизацию.

Выведение из строя органа законодательной власти противника, даже на время, окажется существенное воздействие на функционирование вертикали власти страны и может частично парализовать отдельные сферы жизни. Но здесь мы возвращаемся к извечному вопросу о (не)возможности нанесения внезапного удара в рабочее время, чтобы поразить людей, принимающих решения, а не пустующие здания в ночи. Если таковой нет, то действительно не стоит заниматься тратой ракет на символизм.

🇨🇬 AfDB annual meetings open in Brazzaville as Sidi Ould Tah sets reform agenda

Shareholders, government leaders and other participants are gathering in Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo, this week for the 2026 annual meetings of the African Development Bank, the first since Mauritanian president Sidi Ould Tah took office. As Tah approaches 9 months in office, the meetings are expected to outline his programme built around 4 Cardinal Points, while the bank advances the New African Financial Architecture for Development to help mobilise part of Africa’s $4 trillion in domestic savings to address the continent’s $400bn annual development financing gap.

Ahead of the meetings, Tah secured backing from African leaders for NAFAD at the Africa Forward Summit in Kenya earlier in May. The bank has also raised its stake in African Trade & Investment Development Insurance from 4% to between 14% and 15% and announced a €450m partial risk guarantee for OCP Group, while internal reforms under discussion include cutting project approval times from around 18 months to as little as 3 months.

🇺🇦 Zelensky: Today in Kyiv there is a summit that brought together 24 countries, primarily European countries. All our European neighbors are represented. Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Moldova, Romania and Belarus.

We all support the desire of the Belarusian people to get rid of Russian interference and know that Russia is now trying to draw Belarus even more into this war against Ukraine.

And we appreciate every manifestation of support from Belarusians for a free Ukraine and know that there will be a day when our states will again have good-neighborly relations based on the real independence of both Ukraine and Belarus from Moscow.

Today, this is exactly what we talked about with Svetlana Tikhanovskaya and her team, who are visiting Kyiv. Ukraine has never been a threat to Belarus.

He also claimed Ukraine is mining border areas and conducting reconnaissance of Belarusian territory.

بعد سلسلة محاولات تقدّم إلى بلدة حدّاثا ومن عدّة محاور، لم ينجح العدوّ في اختراق دفاعات المقاومة عند أطراف البلدة التي تكبّد فيها العديد من الخسائر من جنوده وآليّاته.

خلال مساء يوم 19/05/2026، هاجم العدوّ حدّاثا بشكل عنيف ومن محوري تقدّم بجمع كبير من الآليّات و34 جنديًّا (قوّة من الكتيبة الهندسيّة القتاليّة 601). دارت اشتباكات واسعة عند أطراف البلدة. وعند الفجر انكفأت القوّة المتقدّمة تاركةً خلفها جرّافتين مدمّرتين و4 دبّابات احترقت نتيجة استهدافها بالمحلّقات والقذائف المباشرة. أمّا الجنود فقد شُوهِد خروج 28 جنديًّا و6 الباقون تمّ نقلهم بواسطة آليّة نميرا بعد إصابتهم منهم قائد السرية النقيب م. ومقاتلة التوثيق العملياتي الرقيب الأول ش.، اللذين أصيبا بجروح متوسطة وخطيرة.
كان هذا التقدّم بإشراف قائد اللواء (401) مباشرةً الذي كان يتابع تقدّم القوّات وكذلك انكفاؤها من التموضع المتقدّم للواء في بلدة رشاف.
