Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs: 🇷🇺
Under the current circumstances, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will begin carrying out systematic and consecutive strikes against enterprises of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex in Kyiv, including specific sites involved in the design, production, programming, and preparation for the use of drones employed by the Kyiv regime with the assistance of NATO specialists responsible for supplying components, intelligence, and target designation. The strikes will also target decision-making centers and command posts.
Given that the aforementioned targets are scattered throughout Kyiv, we warn foreign citizens, including diplomatic mission personnel and representatives of international organizations, of the need to leave the city as soon as possible. We also recommend that residents of the Ukrainian capital stay away from the regime’s military and administrative facilities. 🇷🇺🇺🇦

The fact that retaliatory strikes are being openly announced is not a cause for concern, as Western intelligence agencies already provide Ukraine with sufficient support to have prior knowledge of such information. The question is how effective those strikes will be against drone production and deployment facilities. Russia needs to win that battle against drones if it wants to regain the upper hand on the front lines.

Хотя судно формально находится в составе украинского флота, естественно, никаким боевым потенциалом оно уже не обладало, поэтому выбор цели для БЭК, мягко говоря, экстравагантный.
Возможно, что оператор дрона просто не нашел ничего подходящего и ударил куда смог, так как рядом с «Дружбой» ранее швартовались катера ВМС Украины.

Посол России в Азербайджане Михаил Евдокимов выдвинул инициативу организовать межпарламентскую встречу в июне на территории Карабаха.
Предложение дипломат озвучил в ходе деловой панели «Инвестиции в регион Каспия», сообщает Report.
Евдокимов отметил, что в июне запланирована встреча парламентариев двух стран – России и Азербайджана – на азербайджанской территории.
«Я выступаю за то, чтобы это было не обязательно в Баку, а, может быть, в Карабахе, например, в Шуше, чтобы наши парламентарии тоже увидели масштабную работу, которая была проделана на этих территориях», - подчеркнул он.
Российский посол также отметил, что экономическое взаимодействие между Россией и Азербайджаном отличается высокой эффективностью.
«В значительной степени это достижение российских и азербайджанских банковских учреждений: наши страны ведут расчеты в национальных валютах – рублях и манатах». В дипломатическом представительстве мы также используем пару рубль-манат и не сталкиваемся ни с какими сложностями в вопросах финансирования.
Российские предприниматели, ведущие деятельность в Азербайджане, также подчеркивают, что расчеты в национальных валютах являются весьма удобными», - подчеркнул дипломат.

The World Health Organization said on 21 May that at least 139 suspected Ebola deaths had been reported in Congo-Kinshasa and warned the toll was likely to rise sharply in the coming weeks. WHO officials said neither of the two candidate vaccines for the Bundibugyo strain has reached clinical trials, leaving the response dependent on containment measures, while authorities have banned travel to Ituri province near the borders with Uganda and South Sudan.
WHO has classified the outbreak as an international health emergency rather than an epidemic, and said the risk of wider spread remains low. The outbreak has also renewed focus on African Union and European Union-backed plans to expand vaccine production in Africa, with the AU targeting 60% local production of key vaccines by 2040 and the EU-backed Cape Town facility expected to open in 2028.

С данным событием предстоит разбираться, но на первый взгляд выглядит так, что последний выброс плазмы смог зацепить Землю даже с обратной стороны Солнца", - сказано в сообщении лаборатории солнечной астрономии Института космических исследований и Института солнечно-земной физики РАН.
Ученые отмечают, что "в окрестностях Земли сейчас происходит радиационный шторм (умеренной силы)".
"Достигнуты уровни выдачи предупреждений о потоках протонов высоких энергий. Начало роста числа частиц примерно совпало с моментом взрыва. Потоки частиц при движении к Земле прошли также через солнечный коронограф, снимавший взрыв: видны как яркие точечные вспышки и полосы (снег) на изображении", - говорится в сообщении.
По оценкам специалистов, это "не вполне типичное явление, которое предстоит осмыслить".
