U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio held talks with Indian External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar in New Delhi on May 24, in a visit aimed at stabilizing bilateral ties that AP described as their lowest point in over two decades, as tariff disputes strained relations. Rubio said Washington still views India as a major strategic partner and expressed optimism about concluding a bilateral trade deal.
The visit comes after U.S. tariff increases on several Indian exports under President Donald Trump, alongside broader economic and diplomatic friction. Despite this, both sides reaffirmed the U.S.-India strategic partnership, while Jaishankar stressed that New Delhi’s policy is guided by national interest, including diversified and affordable energy supplies; shared concern over China and the Quad continues to anchor the relationship.
Rubio is due to meet counterparts from India, Australia and Japan in Delhi on Tuesday under the Quad format. The talks will test whether both sides can prevent further deterioration while preserving strategic coordination in the Indo-Pacific.

The system does not destroy targets, but interferes with their navigation. Lima creates powerful interference fields that disrupt the satellite signal.
Lima imitates the satellite navigation signals used by Russian missiles and drones, transmitting false coordinates to them.

На Гуляйпольском направлении продолжаются тяжёлые бои. Несмотря на заявления России о захвате Зализничного ещё 10 февраля и публикацию кадров с флагами, полностью взять посёлок противнику так и не удалось. Бои идут за северную, западную и центральную части населённого пункта, по которым российские войска наносят удары артиллерией и дронами.
Похожая ситуация и в Доброполье. После громких заявлений противника о захвате посёлка 2 декабря 2025 года линия фронта за четыре месяца практически не изменилась благодаря контрдействиям ВСУ. Сейчас российские войска продолжают наносить удары по северной и центральной частям населённого пункта, подтверждая частичный контроль украинских сил. Тем не менее период густой листвы, продолжающийся с середины мая до середины ноября, объективно усложняет работу разведки и дронов, что может негативно сказаться на ситуации.
В Воздвижевке российской пехоте удалось проникнуть к центру посёлка, однако продвижение было встречено ударами украинских дронов. Расширена серая зона.
