❗️At least 83 people were injured and there are fatalities as a result of the Russian attack, President Zelenskyy said.

According to the president, Russia used about 90 missiles of various types, including 36 ballistic missiles, as well as around 600 drones. He noted that the largest number of strikes was recorded in Kyiv, which was the main target of the attack.

“Putin can’t even pronounce the word ‘hurray’ properly — he mumbles — and yet he still strikes residential buildings with his missiles,” President Zelenskyy said.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk joined US President Donald Trump’s three-day visit to China this month as he sought to reverse Beijing’s block on Suzhou Maxwell shipping nearly $3 billion in advanced solar manufacturing equipment to the US, according to a New York Times report cited by Zaobao. The equipment was intended for Tesla’s solar and storage business and could support about 100GW of US solar capacity.

The case adds to a broader pattern of Chinese restrictions affecting US firms despite ongoing commercial engagement. The article says Coherent has struggled to obtain indium phosphide in China, Nvidia’s H200 sales to Alibaba, Tencent and ByteDance remain unapproved, Meta was ordered to cancel its Manus deal, Micron faces security-related sales limits, and BlackRock’s port acquisition push has met opposition.

Tesla also has major exposure in Shanghai, home to its largest factory, but there is no sign Musk’s effort has succeeded. The dispute points to continued friction in US-China industrial and technology trade even during high-level visits.
