Белый дом не намерен участвовать в бесконечном и бессмысленном цикле встреч, которые ни к чему не ведут. Возобновление процесса возможно только в случае кардинального «изменения динамики» на фронте или в политике.
США по-прежнему готовы вернуться к роли посредника, если появится реальный шанс на продуктивный прорыв. При этом Рубио подчеркнул, что сейчас в мире фактически нет другой силы, способной взять на себя эту миссию.
Госсекретарь отметил, что конфликт не завершится абсолютной военной победой одной из сторон в классическом понимании этого слова. Точка в войне в любом случае будет поставлена за столом переговоров.

Estonia’s Foreign Ministry has summoned Russia’s chargé d’affaires over what it described as an ongoing disinformation campaign against Estonia and other Baltic states.
The ministry said it handed the Russian diplomat an official note of protest, condemning Russian disinformation, public threats, and provocations, and calling on Moscow to immediately stop such actions.

Второй Западный окружной военный суд ужесточил приговор бывшему замглавы Генштаба ВС РФ Халилу Арсланову, осужденному на 17 лет колонии за взятки и мошенничество, сообщили "Интерфаксу" в суде.
Арсланову окончательно назначено наказание в виде 19 лет колонии строгого режима.
Он был признан виновнымпо ч. 6 ст. 290 УК РФ (получение взятки в особо крупном размере) и ч. 4 ст. 159 УК РФ (мошенничество в особо крупном размере).
Уголовное дело было возбуждено 6 августа 2013 года по факту хищения денежных средств при заключении государственного контракта на выполнение работ по сервисному обслуживанию и ремонту специальной военной техники Вооруженных сил.
