Помощник президента Азербайджана Хикмет Гаджиев заявил, что Азербайджан и Афганистан имеют давние исторические, культурные и традиционные связи, а также стремятся расширять сотрудничество в различных сферах, пишет афганский сайт Ariana News.
Выступая перед журналистами в кулуарах Всемирного форума городов (WUF13) в Баку, Гаджиев отметил, что посольство Азербайджана в Кабуле продолжает «полноценно функционировать».
«Между нашими странами и народами существуют исторические, культурные и традиционные отношения», – сказал он.
Гаджиев также упомянул визит заместителя премьер-министра Азербайджана в Кабул в прошлом году, отметив, что в ходе поездки обсуждались возможности экономического и торгового сотрудничества между двумя странами.
«Мы видим большие перспективы для сотрудничества между нашими странами и, что наиболее важно, для контактов между людьми», – добавил он.
Гаджиев также отметил, что в настоящее время многие афганские студенты обучаются в Азербайджане, и назвал сферу образования направлением с «большим потенциалом» для дальнейшего сотрудничества.

Май в Москве завершится прохладной погодой
Температура на 4-5 градусов ниже нормы и соответствующая началу мая прогнозируется в Москве на следующей неделе, сообщила "Интерфаксу" ведущий сотрудник Гидрометцентра России Марина Макарова.
Ночью в субботу, 23 мая, прогнозируется кратковременный дождь, температура составит +14...+16, по области от +12 до +17. "А вот днём уже в Москве температура всего лишь +22...+24, по области +20...+25, днём прогнозируется тоже кратковременный дождь и гроза может быть", - сказала Макарова.
В ночь на понедельник, 25 мая, Московский регион окажется в зоне атмосферного фронта, будет более облачно, прогнозируется небольшой дождь. Температура днем составит +18...+20.
26 мая облачно и дождливо, днём +13...+18. 27 мая облачно, дождь, днем ожидается +13...+18.

Friedrich Merz’s proposal for Ukraine’s “associate membership” in the European Union has received mixed reactions, Euronews reports.
In Brussels, Merz’s letter was compared to an article he published last year advocating the use of frozen Russian assets to finance a reparations loan for Ukraine — an idea that reportedly surprised EU leadership and was ultimately not implemented.
According to one diplomat, the current letter was seen as “a rather hasty step, and also poorly coordinated. The timing was poorly chosen,” adding that many colleagues shared this view.
At the same time, the European Commission, which oversees the enlargement process, reacted more positively, describing the initiative as evidence of “the strong intention of EU countries to make enlargement a reality as soon as possible.”
“Enlargement is a geostrategic investment in our prosperity, peace, and security. And Ukraine’s accession to the European Union is fundamentally linked to the security of our Union,” said Guillaume Mercier, the Commission’s spokesperson for enlargement.
At the same time, he stressed that any innovative model must still be based on the principle of merit, which governs the complex multi-stage accession process.
Earlier this year, the Commission proposed a model under which Ukraine would be formally declared an EU member, while the practical benefits of membership would be introduced gradually. EU capitals reportedly rejected the idea, calling it dangerous and unrealistic.
Merz’s current proposal envisions gradual integration, giving Ukraine access to EU funds and high-level forums, while formal full membership would come only at the end of the process.
At present, negotiations with Ukraine remain blocked by Hungary’s veto, largely due to disputes over the rights of the Hungarian minority in Transcarpathia.
However, Brussels hopes that after the change of government in Budapest, the veto could be lifted by June, allowing the launch of the first negotiation cluster — known as “fundamentals” — and potentially unblocking the remaining five by the end of the year.

Как уточняет компания, на данный момент в проработке находятся почти 400 локаций в Москве и Московской области, проектирование и стройка запланированы на лето. Запуск первых коммерческих услуг на базе новых ВОЛС запланирован на август.
В 2027 году Т2 будет масштабировать проект и обеспечивать приоритетные запуски базовых станций на волоконно-оптических линиях.
Компания поясняет, что запуск новых базовых станций на ВОЛС позволит существенно повысить качество связи, пропускную способность сети и отказоустойчивость услуг для миллионов столичных абонентов.

Возбуждены дела по ч.1 ст.293 УК РФ (халатность) и по ст. 156 УК РФ (неисполнение обязанностей по воспитанию несовершеннолетнего).
"Предварительно установлено, что 18 мая (...) неустановленное лицо сделало уколы в области ягодиц четверых малолетних детей в возрасте 4 и 5 лет, тем самым причинив им физическую боль", - информирует пресс-служба региональной полиции.
На сайте органов местного самоуправления города Кызыла сообщается, что речь идет о детском саде N15 "Страна детства".
