🔺 ✈️ Israeli army aircraft and artillery bombarded the areas of Jabal al-Batom, a motorcycle in Burj al-Shamali, Kafra, Kfar Sir, Jouya, Arzi, Qasmiyeh, Siddiqin, Yater, Majdal Selem, Al-Bazouriyeh, Tyre Harfa, Al-Haniyeh, Qalila, Al-Mansouri, Tebnine, Aita al-Jabal, Habouch, Sultaniyeh, Hadatha, Shaqra, Al-Numairiyeh, Touline, Qabrikha, and the Al-Rayhan highlands.

Резкий комментарий Каи Каллас о Китае вызвал недовольство в Еврокомиссии
Ранее Каллас, говоря об отношениях ЕС с Китаем, заявила, что у Европы есть "очень четкое понимание диагноза заболевания". "Если у вас очень тяжелое заболевание, такое как рак, у вас есть два пути: либо увеличить дозу морфия, либо начать химиотерапию", - сказала она.
"Эти слова не отражают позицию Еврокомиссии", - заявила Politico представитель ЕК Паула Пинью.
При этом в комиссии осудили формулировку, выбранную Каллас. "Нельзя так говорить, когда ты дипломат. Есть слова, которые можно использовать, чтобы послать определенные сигналы, но нельзя сравнивать страны с заболеваниями", - приводит Politico слова официального лица, знакомого с ситуацией в Еврокомиссии.

«Моє тіло та розум цілком здорові, я сповнений любові до дружини й дітей. Я люблю життя та сподіваюсь лише на збереження моєї раси та мого духу. І все ж, на схилі своїх днів, будучи свідком великої небезпеки, яка загрожує моїй батьківщині, Франції та всій Європі, я зобов‘язаний діяти, доки у мене ще є сили. Я вважаю, що маю пожертвувати своїм життям для того, щоб пробудити співвітчизників від сну. Я приношу в жертву те, що залишилось від мого життя, в знак протесту. Я обираю символічне місце – милий моєму серцю собор Паризької Богоматері, зведений генієм моїх предків на місці ще більш давнього культу, в пам‘ять про наше велике походження.»

США вынудили иранского лидера уйти в ту же оперативную невидимость, в которой бен Ладен жил 10 лет в Абботтабаде», - заявил Омар Мохаммед в интервью Fox News Digital.
По его словам, оба лидера «отреагировали одинаково: перестали существовать публично», добавив, что бен Ладен перестал публиковать видеозаписи примерно в 2007 году и полагался на аудиосообщения, передаваемые от руки.
«Бин Ладен оставался в тени до конца своей жизни, потому что момент его появления был моментом его смерти. Моджтаба Хаменеи не появится», - сказал Мохаммед.

🇺🇸🚢 The terrorist U.S. naval forces seized the oil tanker Celestial Sea in the Sea of Oman on May 20. After inspecting the vessel, U.S. forces released it and ordered the crew to change course.
➡️ This tanker is among Iranian commercial vessels that was attacked by U.S. forces while heading toward southern ports in the Sea of Oman.
📊 The U.S. military claims that since the start of the naval blockade operation against Iran on April 13, 2026, it has seized or diverted 37 ships. Accordingly, the Celestial Sea becomes the 38th Iran-affiliated vessel to be inspected and seized by the U.S. Navy.

President William Ruto and his allies are pushing for former president Uhuru Kenyatta to withdraw from active partisan politics, according to The Africa Report. Ruto's camp wants Kenyatta to follow the example of predecessors Daniel arap Moi and Mwai Kibaki, both of whom stepped back into backseat advisory roles after leaving power.
Kenyatta and Ruto, once close political allies, fell out after the 2022 elections. Former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua, impeached in October 2024, has since aligned with Kenyatta, adding to tensions within Kenya's political landscape.

The emergence of Kenya’s popular former president, Uhuru Kenyatta, as a key potential political kingmaker ahead of the 2027 elections is causing discomfort within government circles.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz wants to propose a new special status for Ukraine as an “associate member” of the European Union, Der Spiegel reports.
In a letter to EU leaders, Merz reportedly said that under such a status, Ukraine would not initially receive full membership or voting rights, but would be more closely integrated into EU institutions.
He justified the initiative by pointing to Ukraine’s unique situation as a country at war and the significant progress it has made in accession talks.
According to the report, Merz also believes the proposal could facilitate peace negotiations initiated by US President Donald Trump, including through a political commitment by member states to extend the EU’s mutual assistance clause to Ukraine.
In the letter, Merz described EU enlargement as a “geopolitical necessity,” while acknowledging that accession processes take time.
“Accordingly, I am convinced that we need a new impetus for Ukraine, as well as for the countries of the Western Balkans and Moldova,” he said.
