Since then, Russian forces have been heavily shelling the hills and the surrounding wooded area, possibly with a view to establishing a larger bridgehead. Meanwhile, Ukrainian army is stepping up its attacks on Stavky, managing to gain access to the warehouses once again.

The Ukrainian relic was considered lost after the battle of 1651. But the artifact was handmade by Swedish craftsmen and handed over to the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Andriy Sybiha.
The Foreign Ministry recalled that after the Battle of Berestechko in 1651, the original banner was lost. Later, during the Northern War, it ended up in Sweden as a war trophy and has been stored there ever since.

“We handled it clumsily, and it is entirely my fault. I apologize: in the end, we created a false impression of what we were trying to achieve,” UK Trade Minister Chris Bryant said, commenting on the easing of sanctions on Russian oil.
According to him, the reasons for the move — amid the energy crisis caused by the war in the Middle East and the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz — were not properly explained.
He added that the license allowing imports of diesel and aviation fuel produced from Russian oil in third countries would be suspended at the first opportunity.
Bryant also stressed the leading role Britain has played in sanctions policy against Russia.
The easing of sanctions sparked criticism both within the UK and from Ukraine.
The move was seen as an attempt to prioritize lowering living costs for British consumers over increasing pressure on Russia’s military economy.
In addition, the decision was reportedly not coordinated with the European Union, despite London and Brussels usually aligning on sanctions policy. The EU is not currently considering similar measures, Bloomberg reported.
