🇱🇧🇱🇧/🇮🇱 Hezbollah's Fierce Resistance Thwarts Intense Israeli Army Assault on Hadatha

➡️ For the third consecutive time, Hezbollah fighters have defeated the heavy offensive of the Israeli regime's army on the southern axis of the town of Hadatha, located in southern Lebanon.

🟡 Following several days of airstrikes and artillery shelling by the Israeli regime's army on the town of Hadatha, a Zionist armored convoy consisting of Merkava tanks, various armored vehicles, bulldozers, and other machinery launched a massive attack to enter the town. The assault began at 8:10 PM on Tuesday, May 19, with the movement of a combined armored convoy. The convoy was ambushed with rocket fire and heavy machine-gun fire from Hezbollah fighters near the sports ground at the southern entrance of Hadatha.

🟡Subsequently, a Merkava tank on the route to the Hadatha pond, west of the town, was struck by Hezbollah fighters. The tank crew was forced to abandon it and withdrew under the cover of aircraft.

🟡A third attack by Israeli Merkava tanks allowed them to advance as far as the intersection leading to Aita al-Jabal. However, Hezbollah fighters ultimately succeeded in destroying one Merkava tank and pushing back the Zionists.

🟡Hezbollah fighters then targeted a third Merkava tank at the southern entrance of Hadatha with a Kornet anti-tank missile, and struck a fourth tank in the Al-Baydar area. This fierce resistance by Hezbollah forced Israeli forces to withdraw from Hadatha toward Rashaaf after seven hours of fighting.

✍️ As previously noted, Hadatha holds great strategic importance in this axis, and Hezbollah must prevent its fall at all costs. Hadatha serves as a shield for a chain of Lebanese towns. Its fall would trigger a domino effect, leading to the loss of several other towns in this axis—including Sarabin, Haris, Aita al-Jabal, Kafra, Tebnine, Beit Yahoun, and Qaoun—and would push the fighting deeper into southern Lebanon. Hezbollah enjoys strong support in this area and, leveraging the geographical conditions, can resist for an extended period and prevent Israeli infiltration into southern Lebanon. In this regard, the use of destructive and lethal FPV drones and anti-tank missiles is highly effective and can seriously impede the entry of armored convoys into the region.
