🇳🇬🇺🇸 Nigeria says joint US strikes kill 175 Islamic State militants, senior leaders

Nigerian forces, working with the United States, have killed 175 Islamic State militants in a series of joint air and ground strikes in the country's northeast in recent days, the Defence Headquarters said on Tuesday. Senior leaders were among those killed in the operations.

The strikes targeted Islamic State fighters in northeastern Nigeria, where the group and its affiliates have been active for over a decade.

"Обеспечена доставка ядерных боеприпасов в полевые пункты хранения позиционных районов ракетных бригад", - заявили в ведомстве.

В ходе учений ядерных сил среди прочего отрабатываются учебно-боевые задачи применения ракетного комплекса "Искандер-М".

"Личным составом ракетных соединений выполняются учебно-боевые задачи получения специальных боеприпасов для оперативно-тактического ракетного комплекса "Искандер-М", снаряжения ими ракет-носителей и скрытного выдвижения в назначенный позиционный район для подготовки к проведению ракетных пусков", - говорится в сообщении ведомства.
