The US Department of Defense has asked to test a range of Ukrainian defense products, including drones and electronic warfare systems, as Washington is considering their potential purchase for military use.
The US also appears interested in getting access to critical technologies and, potentially, intellectual property rights that would allow it to replicate the kit, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Hezbollah continues to step up its use of drones against Israeli targets. 🇱🇧🇮🇱
Over the past five days, drones operated by the Lebanese resistance have attacked concentrations of soldiers, tanks, bulldozers, and field camps in southern Lebanon and in Israeli settlements along the border.
The number of wounded Israeli soldiers has been rising over the past month, after the tactic of small swarms of drones became Hezbollah’s primary asymmetric weapon. Helicopters continue to evacuate the wounded to Israeli territory, while the IDF acknowledges a shortage of some 12,000 regular-service soldiers, a situation that could worsen by year’s end if military operations are prolonged amid a reduction in mandatory military service and high attrition among reservists, who are refusing to report to the front lines.

Иранцы смогли расчистить проходы к значительному количеству подземных арсеналов баллистических ракет, ранее атакованных США, сообщает The New York Times со ссылкой на источник.
"Военный чиновник заявил, что многие из иранских баллистических ракет находились глубоко в подземных пещерах и других хранилищах, прорубленных в гранитной породе, которые трудно уничтожить американской авиации. В результате США в основном бомбили проходы под землю, обрушив и запечатав их, но не уничтожив сами объекты. Теперь Иран откопал значительное их количество", - передает NYT.
По его словам, Иран, несмотря на значительные потери, использовал месяц перемирия для восстановления доступа к военным объектам, перемещения мобильных пусковых установок, изменения тактики.

On May 17, new Israeli convoys entered Syrian territory from the occupied Golan Heights near the town of Jamlah in the Daraa governorate. As a result of these new Israeli violations, during the night of May 18, local groups (possibly allied with the IRSF) attacked Israeli troops, leading to a series of exchanges of fire with no concrete results. Meanwhile, instead of halting Israeli incursions into Daraa and Quneitra, the MOI security forces have begun amassing troops in Suwayda with the aim of “preventing movements that affect security” following a worsening of the situation on the front against the Druze militias of the National Guard.

A secret agreement signed in July 2025 between Moscow and Beijing provides for both training Russians in China and training Chinese in Russia.
Approximately 200 Russian soldiers have been trained at Chinese bases, including in Beijing and Nanjing, using modern simulators. The training included the use of drones and electronic warfare systems, and will also cover the use of aviation and mechanized infantry in combat.
Some of the Russians who have been trained in China have become instructors, passing on their experience to other fighters, while others have later participated in combat operations using UAVs in Ukraine, including in Zaporizhzhia.
At the same time, hundreds of Chinese soldiers have been trained at military facilities in Russia.

Yesterday afternoon, groups of Islamists held provocative marches in the predominantly Christian neighborhoods of Bab Touma and Duweilah, reigniting tensions in the fragile calm of the only area under solid control by the Syrian Transitional Government.
However, this control does not prevent ISIS from operating freely in the capital. This morning, an explosive device detonated at the Armaments Directorate in the Bab Sharqi district, while another was defused by MOI security forces. Following the dismantling of refugee camps in eastern Syria, thousands of ISIS members have arrived in cities in western Syria, including the capital, which has enabled the terrorist group to expand its support base as well as attract Islamists who fuel support for the STG/HTS to its ranks.
