Satellite images show major damage from the May 15 strike on Russia’s Ryazan refinery, including process racks at ELOU-AVT-3, ELOU-AVT-6 and AVT-1, one destroyed tank and a technical rack near the TPP. Rough estimates indicate more than half of the refinery’s processing capacity was knocked out, with mass damage often forcing full shutdowns until repairs are completed.

Situation on Soledar front: During the last five days, Russian Army has secured new positions along the water channel around Novomarkove, Minkivka, and Holubivka and launched infiltration operations in Tykhonivka, located on the other side of the water channel. Meanwhile, Ukrainian army launched a series of counterattacks that brought the fighting back to Nykyforivka. The aim of this counterattack was to relieve pressure on the isolated troops in the Sorochyi Forest, who have largely withdrawn (Russian forces is currently conducting mop-up operations there).

Situation on Ilyinovskaya, Konstantinovskaya & Chasov Yar fronts: During the last week, Russian Army launched new infiltration operations in Mykolaivka from the north of the town of Chasov Yar. In addition, Russian forces increased pressure on the city of Kostiantynivka. From the east, the Russians took control of the “Khimik” dachas and the adjacent cemetery, while intensifying infiltration operations further north in Novodmytrivka and entering Molocharka. From the west, during the last five days, Russian soldiers have taken full control of the Chervóne mistéchko districts, the microdistricts, a large part of the central district (not to be confused with the old town), and new parts of the Pivdenny and Prohresyvny neighborhoods. This allowed the fighting to shift to the former Ukrtsink “Megatex” plant and the Suputnyk district.

🇺🇦🎩🇺🇸American illusionist David Blaine visited Ukrainian defenders in the Kharkiv region.
He met with servicemen from the 13th Khartiia Brigade of the National Guard, the 127th Territorial Defense Brigade, and the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Black Zaporozhians.
During the visit, Blaine performed his signature tricks for the soldiers and also learned about the “tricks” Ukrainian Defense Forces use on the battlefield against Russian occupiers.
