🇺🇦 Zelensky: Today we remember and honor the memory of all the victims of one of the most brutal crimes of the Soviet regime – the deportation of the Crimean Tatar people.
The deportation, which became an act of obvious genocide against the Crimean Tatar people. The year 1944 will forever go down in history as an attempt to destroy the people – when both children and adults were thrown out of their homes and sent to a foreign land.
A significant part of the people died on the way, many could not stand it in the places of exile – at least a third, and this may be a very conservative estimate.
We remember them. We have not forgotten and have not forgiven what happened. No people deserves something like this. And even more so, Russia has not stopped at what it has already done and has started a new war against Ukraine from Crimea.
And it is again trying to deprive the Crimean Tatar people and all of us, all Ukrainians, of their home. We are protecting ourselves from this and, as long as we are together and help each other, we will definitely protect ourselves.

Федерации лыжных видов гонок России объединены в одну структуру: Федерацию лыжных видов спорта и сноуборда
Главой новой организации избран заместитель председателя комитета Госдумы по физической культуре и спорту Дмитрий Свищев.
В состав новой объединённой федерации вошли: Федерация лыжных гонок России, Федерация прыжков на лыжах с трамплина и лыжного двоеборья России, Федерация сноуборда России, Федерация фристайла России, Российская федерация горнолыжного спорта.

🇩🇪 German company Global Trade has been supplying European technology to Russia's military-industrial complex for 4 years, bypassing sanctions, - Politico.
The investigation found that about 16 thousand shipments worth more than €30 million passed through the network.
The company was fully controlled by the Russian sanctioned company Kolovrat, which serves the Russian military-industrial complex.
Global Trade employees ordered various dual-purpose measuring equipment throughout Europe: microcontrollers, electronic components, sensors, etc.
They worked under fictitious names, and the cargo was sent through third countries, most often Turkey. The time between export from the EU and import to Russia was often only 5-10 days.
In particular, the equipment was supplied to the All-Russian Research Institute of Automation, which is involved in the development of nuclear weapons.

• Transneft-Upper Volga company's Solnechnogorskaya oil loading station, located in Durykino, Moscow region. The strike hit a diesel fuel storage tank (7,500 m3). The fire spread to other tanks;
• Volodarskaya linear production and control station was attacked.

Ukrainian drone strikes hit multiple Moscow Oblast targets on May 17, including Gazpromneft’s Moscow refinery and Transneft’s Solnechnogorskaya oil loading station in Durykino. The refinery strike hit a construction site, while production capacity was not damaged. At Solnechnogorskaya, a diesel storage tank caught fire and flames spread to other reservoirs.
