❗️Destinus and Rheinmetall are developing the RUTA Block 3 cruise missile with range up to 2,000 km, with flight tests planned in Ukraine in 2027. The missile will carry a 250 kg warhead, use the new Destinus T220 turbojet engine and operate with GPS-free navigation, while Ukraine is set to manufacture key components for the system.

🚀 New RUTA missile with a range of up to 2,000 km to be tested in Ukraine

Destinus, together with Rheinmetall, is developing the RUTA Block 3 cruise missile with a range of up to 2,000 km. Flight tests are scheduled for 2027, and will be conducted in Ukraine.

The previous version - Block 2 - is already undergoing tests in Ukraine with the support of Brave1. Block 1 is mass-produced in the Netherlands.

Block 3 will have:
▪️ a 250 kg warhead;
▪️ a new Destinus T220 turbojet engine;
▪️ navigation that works without GPS.

Ukraine will become not only a testing ground - it will produce key components of the new missile.
