🇨🇳 In the morning a Russian strike drone hit the dry cargo ship KSL Deyang, which was in the sea near the Odesa region.

The ship flies the flag of the Marshall Islands, but belongs to the Chinese company KSL, and its crew consists of Chinese citizens.

The Russian drone also hit another ship under the flag of Guinea-Bissau.

Both ships were in the waiting area and were moving along the Ukrainian sea corridor to the ports of Greater Odesa. There are no casualties.

Tehran has stated that Google, Microsoft, Meta, and Amazon must pay for the use of communications cables passing through the strait. Iranian media also hinted at possible disruptions to the global internet and financial networks.

Strait of Hormuz carries vital communications links between Europe, Asia, and the Persian Gulf countries.

"We have taken note of President Trump's statements. Taiwan is an integral part of China's territory," he added.

After negotiations with the Chinese leader, Donald Trump stated that he does not want to involve the US in a war over Taiwan and does not support drastic steps towards its independence.

Trump also suggested reviewing arms supplies to Taiwan and emphasized the need to maintain the current status quo.

His statements sharply contrast with the position of Joe Biden's administration, which publicly supported military defense of Taiwan in the event of a Chinese invasion.

Trump's advisors fear that China is determined to seize Taiwan, writes Axios. They believe that Beijing is increasingly asserting its claims to the island and is no longer hiding its policy of using force to exert pressure.

Taiwan remains a key hub of the global microchip industry - about 60% of global supplies are produced there.

🇺🇦 26.7% of Ukrainians surveyed believe in the signing of a peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia within the next 12 months.

Overall, 36.3% of respondents believe in Ukraine's victory in the war, and another 30% said they believe rather than do not believe.

Meanwhile, 30.1% of Ukrainians believe that Ukraine is moving in the right direction.
