According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defenses shot down or suppressed 279 enemy UAVs, including Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas types, as well as “Parody” decoy drones, in the north, south, and east of the country.

Eight strike UAVs hit targets at seven locations, with debris also reported at seven sites.

New groups of enemy UAVs remain in the airspace.

🇯🇵🇰🇷 Takaichi to Receive Near State-Visit Honours in Andong

Japanese PM Sanae Takaichi will visit Andong, South Korea on Tuesday for a two-day summit with President Lee Jae Myung, receiving protocol equivalent to a full state visit — including a traditional honour guard and military band escort. The meeting follows shuttle diplomacy established between the two leaders, with Lee having visited Takaichi's hometown of Nara in January.

The summit will include small-group and expanded talks, a joint press announcement, and a state dinner featuring traditional Andong cuisine, followed by a cultural performance at Hahoe Folk Village. The choice of Andong — Lee's hometown — mirrors the reciprocal hometown diplomacy format used in the January Nara visit, signalling deliberate symmetry in the bilateral framework.

The back-to-back leader visits mark a sustained institutionalisation of Japan-South Korea engagement at the highest level.
