7 мая "Ростех" сообщил, что ОДК и ОАК в 2025 году приступили к летным испытаниям истребителя пятого поколения Су-57 с новым двигателем.

В августе 2024 года генеральный директор Государственного научно-исследовательского института авиационных систем Сергей Хохлов сообщал, что истребитель шестого поколения планируется как пилотируемый, но будет поддерживать и беспилотный режим.
