Uzbeks distance themselves from the Syrian Transitional Government. 🇸🇾🇺🇿

A statement issued by Uzbeks living in Syria clarified that, at a meeting held on 9 May 2026 between Uzbeks affiliated with and not affiliated with the government, it was announced that those not affiliated with the government would be persecuted by the new authorities, who labelled them as ‘ISIS members’.

The Syrian Transitional Government is therefore issuing an ultimatum to Uzbek terrorists: assimilate or face persecution. Despite the assistance provided by foreign terrorists to Syrian terrorists during the war, the latter have launched a campaign to subdue them, which began last year with French foreign terrorists.

The Uzbek community has warned of latent discrimination against them by the authorities and by Uzbek “traitors”, who have been recruited into the ranks of the Ministry of the Interior (MOI) and the Ministry of Defence (MOD), claiming that they are only seeking to prosper in Syria.

Thousands of foreign terrorists, who came to Syria with their families to fight against the former political regime, now find themselves in a vulnerable situation, after the new authorities led by Jolani decided to address the question of whether or not to assimilate these “new arrivals”, who have been rejected by their own countries and now by Syria itself. This new discriminatory policy will encourage the strengthening of other, more inclusive radical movements such as ISIS (which does not distinguish between races but between religions), to which all those excluded by ‘the traitorous government’ will feel more drawn.

❗️Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces hit the Tamanneftegaz terminal and Astrakhan Gas Processing Plant overnight, commander Robert “Magyar” Brovdi said. Astrakhan hits included gas condensate distillate tanks, sulfur warehouses, oil products storage, loading racks and at least one processing unit. At Taman, tank farm sections, two terminals, a pier and vacuum gasoil and oil product tanks were hit.

❗️Russia is preparing a sustained, combined attack on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure, according to the Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR).

The first wave is expected to involve a large number of drones aimed at overwhelming air defense systems and striking civilian targets.

This would likely be followed by the use of air- and sea-launched cruise missiles, as well as ballistic missiles.

Potential targets include critical infrastructure and essential services in major cities — energy facilities, defense industry enterprises, and government buildings.

Right now Russia is attacking Ukraine with drones all over the country.

Ukraine’s General Staff confirmed strikes on the Tamanneftegaz oil terminal in Volna, Krasnodar Krai, with a fire recorded at the site. The terminal handles oil, fuel oil, diesel and liquefied hydrocarbon gases and supports Russian occupation forces. Ukrainian forces also hit command posts near Staromlynivka, Soledar and Komyshuvakha, a UAV control point in Myrne and troop concentrations across several axes.

Zelensky urged partners to define how the “coalition of the willing” will operate and agree realistic security guarantees for Ukraine in the coming weeks. The president said practical work on security guarantees should help move the situation toward peace, turning political support into mechanisms that strengthen Ukraine’s position.
