🇱🇧/🇮🇱❓What is the goal of the Israeli army's advance north of the Litani River?

🔺According to Zionist media reports, forces from the Egoz unit and special reconnaissance forces of the Golani Brigade have succeeded in crossing the Litani River and, after gaining operational control over the lands north of the river, have established positions on the southern axis of the town of Eastern Zawtar.

✍️ First point: Despite crossing the Litani River, the Zionists will face a major challenge in entering the town of Zawtar, and they will require extensive aerial support to do so. Their supply route through the Raj Valley is limited, and to move heavy armored vehicles such as Merkava tanks, they will need to build pontoon bridges and the like.

✍️ Second point: This advance was predictable given Hezbollah's military tactics. Under these circumstances, all towns south of the Litani River are at risk of being occupied and destroyed by the Zionists. But the main problem is that Israel has entered the northern lands of the Litani River for a significant move, and it will certainly not be satisfied with merely occupying and destroying the town of Zawtar. The Zionists are currently one kilometer from the town of Zawtar, about four kilometers from the town of Mifdoun, and seven kilometers from the important city of Nabatieh. This distance suggests that the Israeli army is also planning to occupy the city of Nabatieh, and soon we will witness Israel's attempt to occupy it.

✍️ Third point: This move has proven that securing northern occupied Palestine and negotiating with the Lebanese government are merely covers for Israel's actions and crimes in southern Lebanon, and that its goals extend beyond the areas south of the Litani River. The goal of the ground operation south and north of the Litani River is certainly the occupation of Lebanon. Anyone who reduces this to "an old conflict between Hezbollah and Israel" or "a Iran-US dispute" and similar issues has succumbed to simplistic thinking and a major miscalculation!

📌 Lebanon, after the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, is the primary target of the Zionist regime's occupation in the "Greater Israel" plan. In this context, the occupation of southern regions of Syria also gains importance, and the puzzle of the Zionists' enmity with the region is gradually being completed.
