ОАЭ и Саудовская Аравия тайно наносили удары по территории Ирана в ходе войны, пишут издания The Wall Street Journal и Reuters.
Как заявляет The Wall Street Journal, среди атак, которые Объединенные Арабские Эмираты публично не признали, был удар по нефтеперерабатывающему заводу на иранском острове Лаван в начале апреля.
Что касается Саудовской Аравии, то как пишет Reuters, их ВВС наносили зеркальные ответные удары по неназванным целям в Иране, после чего «между сторонами было достигнуто понимание по вопросу деэскалации».
Напомним, что во время войны Иран неоднократно вылавливал в Ормузком проливе обломки дронов Wing Loong 2 китайского производства, которые стоят на вооружении ОАЭ и Саудовской аравии, а сразу после войны эмиратские истребители F-16E были замечены со стертыми опознавательными знаками.
