🇳🇬 Nigeria Court Orders Trial-Within-Trial for Coup Plot Suspects Who Deny Written and Video Statements

A Nigerian court has ordered a trial-within-trial after suspects accused of plotting a coup against President Bola Tinubu denied making written and video statements submitted as evidence by the prosecution. The defendants, who include retired military officers and civilians, challenged the admissibility of the statements, claiming they were not made voluntarily.

The trial-within-trial procedure, used under Nigerian law to determine whether confessional statements were obtained freely, marks a significant procedural development in one of the country's most high-profile security cases in recent years.

The new bases would be designated as American sovereign territory.

In Boykivske, a logistics depot and logistics center of enemy units were hit.

In occupied Mykolaivka in Donetsk region, SSO drones hit an enemy repair base, and in Svyatotroytske in Zaporizhzhia they hit an enemy command and observation post.

In Rovenky, Luhansk Oblast, SSO struck a temporary location of enemy mechanics, and in Kulykivske, Zaporizhzhia, an enemy training ground.

SSO Middle-strike unit also struck the location of an enemy drone unit in Novaya Tavolzhanka, Belgorod region, Russia.
