Introducing AI into warfare together with Palantir, one of the world’s largest defense tech companies, Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov announced.

He met with Palantir Technologies CEO Alex Karp.

“It is symbolic that Alex was among the first CEOs of major Western tech companies to visit Kyiv after the start of the full-scale invasion — in June 2022 — and support Ukraine. Since then, our cooperation has been active.

The results of this partnership:

▫️ a system for detailed analysis of air attacks has been created;
▫️ AI solutions for processing large volumes of intelligence data have been implemented;
▫️ technologies have been integrated into the planning of deep strike operations.

A separate area is the Brave1 Dataroom, developed jointly with Palantir. This platform gives developers access to real battlefield data to train AI models. More than 100 companies are already working on over 80 models to detect and intercept air targets in complex conditions.

During the meeting, the Palantir team was shown how Ukraine protects its airspace, holds back the enemy on the front line, and strikes at the Russian economy.

Today, technology, AI, data analysis, and the mathematics of war directly influence outcomes on the battlefield.

Our goal is to strengthen our partnership with Palantir in AI solutions and defense tech projects that provide Ukraine with a technological advantage.

Palantir is one of the world’s leading companies in data analytics and AI solutions for defense and security. It is among the top 10 US technology companies, with a capitalization of $330 billion. Its technologies are used by the armed forces, governments, and intelligence services of NATO countries and the United States for intelligence work, operational planning, and battlefield management.

It is important that Ukraine has access to the world’s best technologies. Thank you to our partners for their cooperation and support,” the defense minister said.

🇺🇦🇺🇸 Ukraine has almost completely used up its PAC-3 interceptor missiles for Patriot systems, — WP

The war in the Middle East has effectively stopped supplies of American missiles to Ukraine for Patriot air defense systems, and Kyiv has only a meager number of PAC-3s left, distributed throughout the country, American officials told the publication.

Earlier this year, the Donald Trump administration pressured European countries to transfer their own stocks of Patriot missiles to Ukraine, but some of them refused due to fears that this would undermine their defenses.

🇪🇺 Kallas: When this war ends, it's clear that the region is not the same.

The Gulf countries have said to us that they clearly see Europe's role there — because it's our neighborhood.

Just look at the kind of help Ukraine has given to the Gulf countries. In the long term, there is definitely a road for us.

🇳🇬 Nigeria Court Orders Trial-Within-Trial for Coup Plot Suspects Who Deny Written and Video Statements

A Nigerian court has ordered a trial-within-trial after suspects accused of plotting a coup against President Bola Tinubu denied making written and video statements submitted as evidence by the prosecution. The defendants, who include retired military officers and civilians, challenged the admissibility of the statements, claiming they were not made voluntarily.

The trial-within-trial procedure, used under Nigerian law to determine whether confessional statements were obtained freely, marks a significant procedural development in one of the country's most high-profile security cases in recent years.

🇬🇱🇺🇸🇩🇰 BBC: The U.S. has been holding closely guarded, regular negotiations with Denmark to open three new military bases in southern Greenland.

The new bases would be designated as American sovereign territory.

The bases would focus on surveillance of Russian and Chinese maritime activity in the GIUK Gap.

The U.S. currently has just one base in Greenland — Pituffik Space Base — down from around 17 during the Cold War.
