Situation on Luhansk & north of Donetsk front: Before the ceasefire took effect, Russian Army raised flags at a number of positions in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions.
- The village of Nadiya, captured a year ago by Russian forces, with sporadic fighting on the southern and northwestern outskirts.
- Tverdokhlibove, a small village partially occupied by Russia, but with ongoing fighting.
- Novomykhailivka, a locality recently recaptured after Ukrainian soldiers were driven out in March, leaving it in a no-man’s-land.
- Karpivka, whose eastern part is already under Russian control following intermittent fighting since late February.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian army continues to hold Hrekivka, likely the last locality in Luhansk Oblast currently under its control.

Новак отметил, что начиная с 2020 года интернет-торговля ускоренно растет, в том числе за счет перетока на интернет-площадки "классической" розницы и потребительского импорта. Только за период 2022-2024 гг. сектор интернет-торговли в целом и маркетплейсы в частности, по его словам, выросли более чем в 2,5 раза.

An American surgeon donated an operating table for scoliosis treatment to Lviv Children’s Hospital
St. Nicholas Children’s Hospital has received the Modular Table System — an innovative solution considered the gold standard in global spinal surgery.
The equipment allows doctors to adjust a patient’s position during surgery and use precise navigation, reducing the risk of complications in spinal procedures.
The table was donated by leading American surgeon Isador Lieberman of the Texas Back Institute.
In March, he worked alongside Ukrainian doctors to operate on eight children with severe spinal conditions. After completing the mission, he decided to donate the equipment to support further development of this field at the hospital.

Ukrainian Hryhorii Ilchyshyn set a new European record in speed climbing
During the qualification round of the World Climbing Series 2026 in Wujiang, China, the Ukrainian athlete completed the course in 4.841 seconds.
He finished 6th in qualification and officially became the fastest climber in Europe.
This marks a new continental record and the best result ever achieved by a European athlete in the discipline.
The previous record of 4.86 seconds was jointly held by Ukrainian Yaroslav Tkach and Germany’s Leander Karmanns.

Хэмилтон ранее уже возглавлял агентство в статусе временного руководителя, но был уволен после того, как выступил против идеи ликвидации FEMA.
По данным издания, решение Белого дома свидетельствует о смягчении позиции администрации, которая ранее заявляла о намерении упразднить агентство. Если Сенат утвердит кандидатуру, Хэмилтон станет первым постоянным главой FEMA во втором сроке Трампа.
При этом в Сенате могут возникнуть вопросы относительно управленческого опыта Хэмилтона. Закон требует, чтобы глава FEMA имел подтверждённые компетенции в сфере управления чрезвычайными ситуациями и не менее пяти лет опыта руководства.
