خبرگزاری ایرنا، روز یکشنبه ۲۰ اردیبهشت ۱۴۰۵گزارش داد پاسخ تهران به آخرین طرح پیشنهادی ایالات متحده برای رسیدن به توافق بر سر پایان جنگ، برای پاکستان به عنوان میانجی مذاکرات ارسال شده است.
ایرنا بدون اشاره به جزئیات بیشتر نوشت: «بر اساس طرح پیشنهادی، در این مرحله مذاکرات متمرکز بر موضوع خاتمه جنگ در منطقه خواهد بود.»
وبسایت اکسیوس و خبرگزاری رویترز، چهارشنبه هفته گذشته گزارش دادند که واشنگتن و تهران به یک «یادداشت تفاهم یکصفحهای» برای پایان دادن به جنگ نزدیک شدهاند.
رویترز نوشته بود در این تفاهمنامه حتی به تعلیق فعالیت هستهای ایران یا بازگشایی تنگه هرمز که از سوی سپاه پاسداران بسته شده، اشارهای نشده است.
در مقابل، روزنامه والاستریت ژورنال گزارش داده بود که در طرح پیشنهادی آمریکا، تهران باید ثابت کند که بهدنبال سلاح اتمی نیست، تاسیسات فردو، نطنز و اصفهان را برچیند، فعالیت زیرزمینی هستهای را متوقف کند و همچنین بپذیرد غنیسازی را تا ۲۰ سال متوقف کند.
رییسجمهور و وزیر خارجه آمریکا روز جمعه گفته بودند جمهوری اسلامی تا پایان همان روز قرار است به پیشنهاد ایالات متحده پاسخ دهد.

D. Israeli soldiers began to surround the Christian villages near the border by entering Ain Ebel from the south.
E. From Aitaroun, Israel advanced eastward, reaching Blida after passing through Nabi Youchaa, which has been heavily damaged. Minor advances were also made south of Meiss el Jabal.
F. In the past week, Israeli army began expanding its operations along the banks of the Litani River from the axes of Qantara (where minimal progress was made), Aalman Marjaayoun, & Deir Seryan. On these last two axes, the Israelis crossed the Litani, entering the outlying areas of Zawtar El Charqiyeh (outside the so-called “Yellow Line” buffer zone) & outskirts of Yohmor. In addition, small advances took place on the hills overlooking Taybeh.
G. In Khiam, the IDF has once again occupied almost the entire town and expanded its operations northward, approaching Hasbaya-Marjaayoun road.

Twelve policemen were killed after a car bomb struck a police post in the city of Bannu in northwestern Pakistan, followed by a subsequent clash with militants. A senior police officer confirmed the death toll on Sunday.

The Kremlin has effectively signaled that negotiations will not change the course of the war against Ukraine.
Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said that even after multiple rounds of talks, there will be no progress unless Ukraine agrees to withdraw its troops from Donbas.
He reiterated this demand, stressing that without it “there will be no result.”
Ushakov also said that American negotiators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are planning to visit Moscow in the near future to continue the dialogue.
