Об этом заявил министр иностранных дел Азербайджана Джейхун Байрамов в комментарии журналистам, сообщает АПА.
По словам главы МИД, Армения находится накануне важного политического этапа, а предстоящие парламентские выборы будут иметь значение для будущего страны.
«Мы знаем, что в ближайшее время в Армении пройдут парламентские выборы. Их результаты будут зависеть от того, перейдёт ли страна на новый этап развития. Там, если можно так выразиться, идёт напряжённая борьба, и различные группы используют разные инструменты. К сожалению, в политических кругах Армении всё ещё есть лица с реваншистскими взглядами в отношении Азербайджана, и они демонстрируют это в ходе предвыборной кампании, выдвигая открытые обвинения», — отметил Байрамов.
Он подчеркнул, что подобная риторика не может привести к положительным результатам для Армении.
«Мы считаем, что армянский избиратель даст этим процессам правильную оценку и сделает свой выбор. Азербайджанское государство всегда внимательно следит за процессами. Мы формируем нашу политику, исходя прежде всего из национальных интересов Азербайджана, укрепления его силы и дальнейшего развития как ведущего государства региона», — добавил министр.
По его словам, Азербайджан уверен в продолжении выбранного курса.

🇯🇵 Japan to send officials to Russia in late May, — Japanese Trade Ministry
"It is necessary to protect the assets of Japanese companies that remain in Russia," the ministry said.
These comments came after Kyodo news agency reported on May 8 that the Japanese government was planning to send a delegation of companies to Russia to discuss economic issues ahead of the end of the war in Ukraine.
At the same time, the Ministry of Trade denied this information, stating that Japan would continue to coordinate its actions with the G7 on the issue of sanctions against Russia. It added that "the current situation does not allow for the development of new forms of cooperation with Russia."

🇨🇩 DRC Opposition Leader Fayulu Accuses Tshisekedi of Plotting Unconstitutional Third Term
Opposition figure Martin Fayulu on May 9 accused President Felix Tshisekedi of seeking to remain in power beyond the two-term constitutional limit set to expire in 2028. Fayulu, speaking to AFP, called a bill advancing through the Congolese parliament — which would allow presidential revision of term-limit clauses following a referendum in cases of major institutional dysfunction — a subterfuge designed to allow Tshisekedi to carry out a constitutional coup. Tshisekedi, 62, who has been in office since 2019, told press on May 7 he had not sought a third term but would accept one if the people wished, and also raised the possibility of postponing the 2028 election if conflict in eastern DRC continued.
Tshisekedi stated on May 9 that the United States had demanded reforms that could not be achieved without revising the constitution, a reference to the Washington mineral access deal signed in December 2024. The DRC-Rwanda agreement has so far failed to halt clashes involving the Rwanda-backed M23 militia in the country's east.
