Также впервые за многие годы парад прошел без участия наземной военной техники, зато опять впервые был продемонстрирован "видеопарад" - заранее записанные кадры с различной военной техникой и процессом учений в зоне СВО.

According to the plan of Russian special services, the assassination of the officer was to take place on May 9 in order to create a favorable information background for the Kremlin to celebrate "Victory Day".
As the investigation established, the assassin planned to ambush the Ukrainian serviceman near his residence and was going to shoot him. The attacker was supposed to open fire when the officer was driving his car while leaving the yard.
Counterintelligence officers and special forces of the Central Intelligence Agency "Alpha" of the SBU foiled the attempt and detained the assassin on May 8.
