به گفته رادمهر، این حمله ساعت ۰۰:۱۰ توسط اسرائیل و آمریکا انجام شده است.

همزمان فاکس‌نیوز گزارش داد آمریکا حملاتی را به جزیره قشم و بندرعباس در جنوب ایران انجام داده است.

🔴قرارگاه خاتم النبیاء که مدیریت جنگ در ایران را بر عهده دارد، ساعتی بعد از گزارش‌ها از حملات و رد و بدل شدن آتش در حوالی تنگه هرمز، با انتشار بیانیه‌ای این حملات را «نقض اتش‌بس» و در پی «همکاری چند کشور منطقه با آمریکا» ارزیابی کرده و گفته است: «ارتش متجاوز، تروریست و راهزن آمریکا با نقض آتش‌بس یک کشتی نفتکش ایرانی و در حال حرکت از آبهای ساحلی ایران در منطقه جاسک به سمت تنگه هرمز و همچنین یک کشتی دیگر در حال ورود به تنگه هرمز را روبروی بندر فجیره امارات مورد هدف قرار دادند و همزمان مناطق غیرنظامی را با همکاری برخی از کشورهای منطقه در سواحل بندر خمیر، سیریک و جزیره قشم مورد تعرض هوایی خود قرار دادند.»

این قرارگاه در ادامه مدعی شده که نیروهای نظامی ایران به این حملات واکنش نشان داده‌اند: «نیروهای مسلح جمهوری اسلامی ایران نیز بلافاصله و در اقدامی متقابل شناورهای نظامی آمریکا در شرق تنگه هرمز و جنوب بندر چابهار را مورد هجوم قرار داده و خسارات قابل توجهی به‌ آنها وارد نمودند.»

🇺🇸🇮🇷 CBS News: Three U.S. Navy destroyers — USS Truxtun, USS Mason and USS Rafael Peralta — came under a heavier Iranian attack Thursday while transiting the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran launched missiles, drones and fast-attack boats, prompting U.S. forces to respond with naval guns, helicopters and air support.

No U.S. ships were hit or damaged, officials said.

ستاد فرماندهی مرکزی آمریکا، سنتکام، اعلام کرد نیروهای آمریکایی ۱۷ اردیبهشت همزمان با عبور ناوشکن‌های مجهز به موشک هدایت‌شونده آمریکا از تنگه هرمز به سوی دریای عمان، حملات موشکی، پهپادی و قایق‌های کوچک جمهوری اسلامی را رهگیری و به منابع این حمله‌ها در ایران حمله کردند.

طبق اعلام سنتکام، نیروهای جمهوری اسلامی در حالی این حمله‌ها را با چندین موشک، پهپاد و قایق‌های کوچک انجام دادند که ناوهای یواس‌اس تراکستون، یواس‌اس رافائل پرالتا و یواس‌اس میسون از این گذرگاه بین‌المللی دریایی عبور می‌کردند و هیچ‌یک از تجهیزات یا دارایی‌های آمریکا هدف قرار نگرفت.

سنتکام گفت نیروهای آمریکا ضمن دفع این تهدیدها، تاسیسات نظامی ایران را که مسئول حمله به نیروهای آمریکایی بودند، از جمله محل‌های پرتاب موشک و پهپاد، مراکز فرماندهی و کنترل و گره‌های اطلاعاتی، نظارتی و شناسایی، هدف قرار دادند.

سنتکام تاکید کرد که به دنبال تشدید تنش نیست، اما همچنان در موقعیت مناسب قرار دارد و آماده حفاظت از نیروهای آمریکایی است.
