🔻مسعود پزشکیان، رئیس‌جمهور ایران، شامگاه ۱۶ اردیبهشت  با حضور در  نشستی با نمایندگان اصناف و بازاریان در وزارت صنعت، معدن و تجارت با اشاره به دیدار خود با مجتبی خامنه‌‌ای، رهبر سوم جمهوری اسلامی او را «صمیمی و متواضع» توصیف کرد.

او در بخش دیگری از سخنانش گفت که با «وحدت و تحمل دیدگاه‌های متفاوت» ایران می‌تواند بر تمامی مشکلات و فشارها غلبه کند. او در ادامه گفت: «الان می‌بینید کسانی در خیابان‌ها از ایران دفاع می‌کنند که قبلا ما می‌خواستیم آنها را جریمه کنیم.» به‌نظر می رسد اشاره او به تجمعات شبانه و حضور طرفداران غیر سنتی جمهوری اسلامی با پوشش‌هایی کاملا دور از چارچوب‌های حکومت درباره حجاب باشد.

مشخص نیست که این نخستین دیدار آقای پزشکیان با مجتبی خامنه‌ای پس از رهبری  باشد اما این نخستین‌بار است که او درباره آن به‌طور علنی سخن گفته است.

The Union of Journalists of Russia has been permanently expelled from the International Federation of Journalists.

The decision was made at the 32nd Congress of the organization, held in Paris from May 4 to 7, 2026.

The key reason for the expulsion was the creation of branches of the Russian journalists’ union in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine — in the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions — which was deemed a serious violation of international law and the IFJ statute.

The decision marked the culmination of a long-standing effort by Ukrainian media professionals to counter Russian propaganda.

Representatives of the Russian union did not attend the Congress and did not file an appeal or present their position.
