❗️Zelensky says he gave HUR separate tasks on Russia’s air-defense system as Moscow expands air-defense rings around the capital through large-scale transfers from Russian regions. He said the buildup shows Russia’s leadership is not preparing for a ceasefire and is more worried about its Moscow parade than the rest of Russia. Zelensky said the redeployments create new opportunities for Ukraine’s long-range sanctions.

Situation on Shakhovskoy & Dobropolskaya fronts: During the last five days, Russian army has continued to advance beyond the trench system east of Novopavlivka and has managed to secure positions around Vinokurny Pond. Meanwhile, along the Toretske-Vilne line, Russians and Ukrainians continue their assaults across the quarry area. Meanwhile, Russian forces have secured the village of Dorozhnye, whilst Ukrainian army has regained momentum in Bilytske, driving Russian troops out of most of the locality and its south-western outskirts.

Situation on Pokrovsk & Udachnenskaya fronts: During the last five days, Russian army has fully secured the village of Novooleksandrivka and continued to push the front line east of Hryshyne, taking control of new trench systems, as well as along the railway line running parallel to the M-30. In addition, over the last three weeks, Russian troops have managed to secure a series of positions north of Kotlyne and the landfill site, an area that has been subject to heavy artillery fire over the last three months.

🇪🇸🇺🇸 Spain will ask the EU for a temporary exception to allow Delcy Rodríguez's entry
Following the failed attempt by Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares to achieve the lifting of sanctions against Delcy Rodríguez within the European Union, the Executive is now seeking an alternative route to allow her entry into Spain for the meeting scheduled for November.
Faced with a lack of consensus among member states, the Spanish Government is now opting to request a temporary exception, known as a "waiver". This mechanism authorizes the entry of a sanctioned person on a case-by-case basis without the need to modify the general regime.
If within an approximate period of 48 hours no country objects, the authorization is granted automatically. Otherwise, the matter is elevated to the political level for debate among the Twenty-Seven.

Ukrainians disrupted a pro-Russian “Immortal Regiment” march in the Netherlands.
In Amsterdam’s Dam Square, activists from the Free Defenders movement held a counter-protest against the march, which organizers had presented as a “commemorative event.”
Ukrainian participants carried posters highlighting Russian war crimes and symbolically named their action the “Death Regiment” to emphasize the consequences of Russian aggression.
They also called attention to Ukrainian prisoners of war and human rights violations by the Russian Federation.
The date of the event coincided with the anniversary of the 2014 events in Odesa, when the city avoided the scenario of the so-called “Russian Spring.”
Activists are now calling on Ukrainians abroad to join similar “Death Regiment” actions planned for May 9.
