🇩🇪 German minesweeper Fulda has departed for the Mediterranean Sea, from where it will be redeployed to the Strait of Hormuz if necessary, Kieler Nachrichten reports.

🇰🇷🇮🇷 HMM Bulk Carrier to Be Towed to Dubai After Hormuz Explosion
South Korean shipper HMM confirmed it has secured a tow vessel for the HMM Namu after the Panama-flagged bulk carrier suffered an explosion and fire in the Strait of Hormuz on May 4. All 24 crew members remained on board with no casualties. The damaged vessel is expected to arrive in Dubai late May 7 or early May 8 Seoul time.
Trump attributed the incident to an Iranian attack and called on South Korea to join US-led efforts to secure navigation through the strait, through which roughly one-fifth of global oil and LNG flows in normal conditions. Seoul's Foreign Ministry withheld attribution pending inspection, while the presidential Blue House confirmed it is reviewing Washington's request for participation.
Trump subsequently announced a pause in the Hormuz escort operation, citing progress toward a comprehensive deal with Iran — leaving Seoul's participation decision in a holding pattern.

В преддверии 103-й годовщины со дня рождения общенационального лидера Гейдара Алиева группа военнослужащих Государственной пограничной службы совершила очередное восхождение на вершину «Гейдар», расположенную на высоте 3 751 метр над уровнем моря в массиве Гызылгая Большого Кавказского хребта.
Участники начали движение от пограничной заставы «Хыналыг». Несмотря на холодные погодные условия и сложный горный рельеф, пограничники успешно преодолели маршрут и достигли пика в установленное время, сообщили в Госпогранслужбе АР.
На вершине был установлен плакат с надписью: «Гейдар Алиев — архитектор и создатель современного Азербайджана, основатель Государственной пограничной службы, Великий лидер, вечный, как и сам Азербайджан», а также размещены портрет Гейдара Алиева, знамя Победы и эмблема Государственной пограничной службы.
Был исполнен государственный гимн. Затем пограничники закрепили на скале памятную табличку с надписью: «Гейдар Алиев — основатель современного азербайджанского государства — 103 года».
