Ukraine’s SBU and other forces struck the Kirishinefteorgsintez refinery and Kirishi oil pumping station in Russia’s Leningrad region. SBU drones hit 3 AVT units responsible for primary oil processing at the refinery, where a fire is ongoing. A petroleum products tank was also hit on the territory of the Kirishi oil pumping station.

Ukraine’s General Staff confirmed strikes overnight on May 5 against VNIIR-Progress in Cheboksary and infrastructure at the Kirishi refinery in Russia’s Leningrad region, where a fire followed. It said VNIIR-Progress produces GNSS receivers and Kometa adaptive antenna arrays used in Shahed drones, missiles, UMPK glide bomb modules and other precision weapons. Other targets included a fuel depot, command post, Kasta radar and logistics depot.

🔥 VNIIR-Progress plant, Kirishisky refinery and a number of other enemy facilities were hit, - General Staff
The VNIIR-Progress plant is engaged in the production of GNSS receivers and antennas for the GLONASS, GPS and Galileo satellite systems, in particular the Comet adaptive antenna arrays.
💥 In addition, the infrastructure of the Kiryshsky oil refinery in the Leningrad region was hit.
⚡️Also, over the past day, our soldiers successfully hit a field depot of fuels and lubricants in the Vedmezhe area in the Luhansk Oblast, a command and observation post (Smile) and a radar station “Kasta” (Yeliseivka) of the enemy in the Zaporizhzha region, and a warehouse of material and technical resources in the vicinity of the city of Donetsk.

Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces also confirms strikes on the Kirishi refinery in Leningrad region and VNIIR-Progress in Cheboksary. Kirishi processes 20–21 million tons of oil per year and is one of Russia’s three largest refineries. VNIIR-Progress produces GNSS receivers, antennas and Kometa navigation modules used in Kalibr, Kh-69, Iskander-M, Shahed, Orlan-10, Forpost and guided bomb kits.

В последнее время часто замечаем вопросы о том, почему парад в Москве сократили только для техники, ведь противник с тем же успехом может ударить и по коробкам с людьми.
Ответ здесь заключается в том, что ударить по технике гораздо проще, а также эффектнее с точки зрения картинки.
Перед репетициями парада и перед самим его проведением вся тяжелая техника заранее скапливается на определенной отрытой стоянке в Москве, где стоит несколько дней, откуда выезжает на мероприятие и куда возвращается.
Если мы предположим сценарий срыва парада, то в случае полета ракет и дронов в сторону Москвы, оперативно куда-то вывезти десятки танков, бронемашин, ракетных комплексов и грузовиков с этой стоянки могут банально не успеть - это одна большая стационарная мишень. Кроме того, существует риск повторения операции "Паутина" - для FPV-дронов ровные неподвижные ряды парадной техники также лакомая цель.
И совсем другой разговор это сокращенное количество личного состава, который при любой тревоге можно оперативно и централизованно развести по укрытиям, или люди сами банально разбегутся в стороны. Танки и ПГРК со стоянок или узких улиц особо никуда не разбегутся.
Для наглядного примера приводим спутниковые снимки Москвы в низком качестве, проанализированные противником. Такая "парадная стоянка" на юго-западе столицы сейчас пуста, тогда как в 2025 и 2024 году она заполнялась военной техникой.
Первое фото - как это выглядит сейчас (обведенный желтым сектор пуст). Второе фото - как это выглядело в 2025 году, когда там стоит парадная техника (этот же сектор уж заполнен). Третье фото - как эта стоянка выглядела в высоком разрешении в 2024 году перед началом парада.

The enterprise’s capacity is 20–21 million tons of oil per year, making it one of the three largest refineries in the aggressor country.
The plant is part of Surgutneftegaz and specializes in deep oil processing, production of fuel, bitumen and aromatic hydrocarbons.
KINEF is an important element of the Russian Federation’s export logistics in the Baltic region.
Also, a combined strike on the VNIIR Progress enterprise in the city of Cheboksary.
The enterprise’s capacity is 20–21 million tons of oil per year, making it one of the three largest refineries in the aggressor country.
