🇺🇦🦩🚀 Zelensky: Last night, there were combat launches of F-5 Flamingo cruise missiles as part of operation Deep Strike against several enemy targets, including facilities of the military-industrial complex in Cheboksary.

Ukrainian "flamingos" covered a distance of more than 1,500 kilometers. The affected military production facility produced relay protection systems, automation, and low-voltage equipment.

The plant supplied navigation elements for the Russian Navy, missile industry, aviation, and armored vehicles. Everything that the Russians use in the war against us is against Ukraine.

Russia must end its war and move on to real diplomacy. We have made our offer. Glory to Ukraine!

🇳🇬🇿🇦 Nigeria to Evacuate 130 Citizens from South Africa Amid Xenophobia Fears

At least 130 Nigerians have registered for a voluntary evacuation programme from South Africa following renewed fears of xenophobic violence, Nigerian officials announced on May 4, 2026. Foreign Minister Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu said the figure is expected to rise, adding that Nigerian lives and businesses in South Africa must not continue to be put at risk. Many of those registered are based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, where threats and isolated attacks targeting foreign nationals have surged in recent weeks.

South Africa has experienced recurring bouts of xenophobic violence, including deadly riots in 2008 and renewed attacks in 2015 and 2019, which have repeatedly strained relations between Africa's two largest economies.

💪 Ukrainian Flamingo missiles struck targets deep in the rear of the Russian Federation overnight, including a military-industrial facility in Cheboksary, — President Zelenskyy.

“Flamingo” covered a distance of more than 1,500 kilometers, the president noted.

The targeted facility produced relay protection systems, automation equipment, and low-voltage components. It supplied navigation elements for the Russian Navy, as well as for the missile industry, aviation, and armored vehicles.
