Most Russians (56%) want Western companies to return to Russia, — The Moscow Times.
Most often, respondents mention car manufacturers (41%), films, music and video games (28%), software (27%), furniture and building materials (25%), food and beverages (23%), and cosmetics (22%). The data comes from a survey conducted by the research company Group 7/89.
At the same time, 27% of respondents do not want Western brands to return, while another 17% were undecided.
Younger respondents are more likely to support the return of Western companies. Among those aged 18 to 29, this figure reaches 84%, compared to 38% among those aged 60 and older. Men and women show nearly identical support for the return of Western companies (55% and 57%, respectively).

Since the (theoretical) start of the ceasefire, there has been a noticeable shift in Hezbollah’s strategy, reminiscent of the Ukrainian conflict: an increase in drone attacks against Israeli troops.
From Merkavas to bulldozers, drones are having a psychological impact on Israeli soldiers, forcing the IDF to limit its ground operations and improvise anti-drone mechanisms on vehicles. Drones are also highly effective for a paramilitary group such as Hezbollah, as they can destroy or damage high-value equipment and increase the number of casualties without exposing their own fighters. Even with air and technological superiority, the proliferation of drones in southern Lebanon could have disastrous consequences for the invading troops.

Украина объявляет «режим тишины», начиная с 00:00 в ночь с 5 на 6 мая. «Будем действовать зеркально, начиная с указанного момента», — заявил Зеленский.
Ранее Минобороны РФ объявило о перемирии с 8 по 9 мая. Фактически это может означать прекращение огня минимум на четверо суток — при условии, что обе стороны будут соблюдать его одновременно. Если Россия не поддержит украинскую инициативу, Украина также не будет придерживаться предложенных Москвой условий.
Ранее Минобороны РФ объявило о перемирии с 8 по 9 мая. Фактически это может означать прекращение огня минимум на четверо суток — при условии, что обе стороны будут соблюдать его одновременно. Заявление Зеленского можно рассматривать как простое условие - если хотите перемирие на время парада в Москве, то начинайте соблюдать его уже с 6, а не с 8 мая.
Так Украина выторговывает минимум 4 суток прекращения огня, которые затем попытается протолкнуть Трампу как возможный старт для более длительного перемирия.
Если же Россия не пойдет на условия Зеленского с ранним прекращением огня, то вполне вероятно, что Украина тоже не станет соблюдать предложенное Путиным перемирие на 8-9 мая, что ставит под угрозу сам факт проведения парада.

If Ukraine tries to disrupt the Victory Day celebrations, the Russian Defense Ministry promises to launch a “massive missile strike on the center of Kyiv.”
Zelensky has already given his genius answer, either peace soon or no parade 🔥
It is absolutely clear that Ukraine is trying to scare Russia into withdrawing its air defenses to Moscow, thus exposing other regions that will be hit :)
Against the background of all these statements, people are less and less confident (28%) in ending the war and signing a comprehensive agreement by the end of 2026.
But maybe we will still be able to force Russia to agree to favorable terms in the fall. What do you think?
