🇱🇧🇺🇸🇮🇱 Start of direct talks between the Lebanese government and the Zionist regime in the United States

🔺 Yechiel Leiter, the Zionist regime's ambassador to the US, and Nada Hamadeh, Lebanon's ambassador to the US, held a meeting and directly negotiated on bilateral issues, mediated by American officials.

🔺 US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and several other American officials were also present at the meeting.

➡️ This meeting marks the first direct talks between representatives of the Zionist regime and Lebanon in three decades.

🔺 Following the meeting, Leiter told the media that both sides agree on "liberating Lebanon from Iranian occupying forces(!), meaning Hezbollah."

✍️ These talks were initiated by the United States with the aim of reaching a long-term, permanent solution to confront Hezbollah and Iran. In effect, the Zionist regime is seeking the disarmament of Hezbollah by the Lebanese government, normalization of relations, and a peace agreement. Meanwhile, the Lebanese government is seeking a ceasefire and the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Lebanese territory, hoping thereby to persuade Hezbollah to end its resistance. The US, by outlining a unified plan, is attempting to unite the Lebanese government and the Zionist regime against Hezbollah and, by instigating a foreign‑domestic war, eliminate the Islamic Resistance movement in Lebanon.
