In solidarity, Latvia issues Olympic stamps dedicated to Vladyslav Heraskevych.

Latvian Post, Latvijas Pasts, has presented a series of stamps for the XXV Winter Olympic Games, one of which is dedicated to Ukrainian skeleton athlete Vladyslav Heraskevych.

The project was created in collaboration with street artist Kiwie. Some of the designs were developed by the athletes themselves during creative sessions, including in Kyiv with Heraskevych’s participation.

"U.S. Central Command: Forces under U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) will begin enforcing a blockade on all maritime traffic entering and leaving Iranian ports on April 13 at 10:00 a.m. (Eastern Time), in accordance with the proclamation issued by U.S. President Donald Trump.
The blockade will be applied impartially to vessels of all nations entering or leaving Iranian ports and coastal areas, including all Iranian ports in the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman. CENTCOM forces will not impede the freedom of navigation of vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz to and from non-Iranian ports". 🇺🇸 🇮🇷

With this, the U.S. military is proposing not only a blockade of the Strait of Hormuz but a total maritime blockade of Iran, deploying a military force from the mouth of the strait to the Indian Ocean. However, to what extent is this possible? Until now, Iran has controlled who enters and exits the strait with its own blockade, which creates the paradox of nullifying the very purpose of the U.S. blockade—to allow passage only to certain ships. This leads to a stalemate that, to be sustained over time, inevitably results in the following: the return of war.

The consequences for the global economy will be significant: approximately 20% of the world’s oil (about 20–21 million barrels per day) and around 20% of global liquefied natural gas (LNG), as well as fertilizers, chemicals, and other goods, pass through the Strait of Hormuz. The price of oil will rise significantly, affecting transportation, energy, and commodity prices, as well as the economic growth of both producer and consumer nations, potentially leading to a phenomenon of stagflation. However, this impact will be even greater now that the U.S. will block the strait, depriving Asian countries (primarily China, India, Japan, and South Korea) of their main source of crude oil. These countries currently hold significant global and regional influence and may exert greater pressure to lift the blockade.

The U.S. will enforce its blockade by targeting Iranian coastal targets and intercepting Iranian attacks on ships, leveraging its naval superiority. However, Iran will compensate for this shortfall by mobilizing the ports and refineries of Gulf countries to disrupt traffic, as it has done in the past, given that the Persian Gulf is effectively an Iranian lake.

A full-scale bombing campaign is on the table but unlikely, since it could destabilize the region and lead to a prolonged conflict.

The U.S. may also try a temporary Hormuz blockade while pushing allies to take on more responsibility.

The Gulf countries will be affected by millions in lost export revenue. However, a U.S. naval blockade would leave pipelines as an alternative for supplying oil and gas without passing through the Strait of Hormuz, albeit with greater limitations (the East-West Pipeline and the Abu Dhabi Crude Oil Pipeline have a combined capacity of 9 million bpd, well below the 20 million bpd offered by the Strait of Hormuz). However, this will not be easy, as Iran would consequently attack these pipelines, further damaging the regional and global economy, and triggering an intensified military response from the U.S., with the possibility of a blockade or control over the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, which would be challenged by attacks from Ansarallah.

The long-term impact is worrying and disheartening. The U.S. has yet to find a way out of the war with Iran, and its missteps are mounting, leading to a loss of confidence and legitimacy as a military power, while its Israeli ally seeks to further inflame the Middle East with a new wave of ethnic cleansing—this time on Lebanese soil—and remains undeterred in its quest to destroy Iran and everything associated with the Axis of Resistance. 🇺🇸🇮🇱 🇮🇷

Армия США начнет морскую блокаду Ирана 13 апреля

Центральное командование ВС США на Ближнем Востоке (CENTCOM) в понедельник днем начнет блокировать возможность войти в иранские порты или выйти из них для всех судов.

"Силы CENTCOM начнут блокировку всего морского трафика, входящего в иранские порты и выходящего из них, 13 апреля в 10:00 по восточному времени США (17:00 МСК - ИФ) в соответствии с объявлением президента", - сообщило командование в соцсети X.

طبق گفته دو مقام آمریکایی که در جریان موضوع قرار گرفته‌اند، ایالات متحده در مذاکرات با ایران خطوط قرمز مشخصی را تعیین کرده است. از جمله این موارد:

ایران باید تمام غنی‌سازی اورانیوم را متوقف کند.

برچیدن تمام تأسیسات اصلی غنی‌سازی هسته‌ای.

بازپس‌گیری (تخلیه) مواد با غنای بالا.

بازگشایی کامل تنگه هرمز به‌طوری که عبور از آن بدون عوارض باشد.

یک صلح گسترده‌تر که شامل متحدان منطقه‌ای نیز شود.

پایان دادن به حمایت مالی از گروه‌های نیابتی مانند حزب‌الله در لبنان و شورشیان حوثی یمن.

جی‌دی ونس، معاون رئیس‌جمهور، در یک کنفرانس خبری پس از پایان گفتگوها گفت: «ما خطوط قرمز خود را بسیار روشن اعلام کرده‌ایم و آن‌ها [ایرانی‌ها] ترجیح دادند شرایط ما را نپذیرند.» یک مقام مطلع از رایزنی‌ها گفت که ونس پیشنهادی را به ایرانی‌ها ارائه داده و افزود که اکنون پذیرش آن بر عهده تهران است.

This is the result of Hezbullah's main mode of attacks this war with concentrating rocket fire not Israel but on Israeli forces in Lebanon where they are known where and have no AD

They mentioned two but give it a few days and you will hear that Israeli casualties are closer to 800 now.

Last time it suddenly jumped to 500 when they were barely reporting a injury or two every other time

However it stays painful for us that there are no Israeli army deaths (at least being reported for those who think Israel hides deaths)
