"The Department cannot simply reinstate an unlawful policy under the guise of 'new' measures and expect the court to overlook it," he said, calling the department's actions "a clear attempt to circumvent a valid court order."
Pentagon spokesman announced on social media that the department had complied with the court's order. The journalists' accreditations were restored, and the policy was revised in accordance with the judge's comments.

❗️Ukraine shot down Iranian “Shaheds” in the Middle East, President Zelenskyy said.
“We sent our military experts to the Middle East, in particular in interceptor drones and electronic warfare. And we demonstrated to some states how to work with interceptors. Did we destroy Iranian ‘Shaheds’? Yes, we did. Did we destroy them in one state? No, in several. And this, in my opinion, is a success,” the president said.
Zelenskyy noted that this was not a training mission, but support for building a modern air defense system that can truly function.
“Our experts were able to quickly advise those states that opened their air defense systems to us on how to strengthen them. In some cases, we directly transferred our defense experience to them. In any case, all this had a very positive result, and it adds respect to Ukraine,” the president noted.
Zelenskyy added that drones with jet engines were also shot down.
“This is a very good signal, I think. We have shown that it works. Now it is only a matter of time before we mass-produce interceptors that will destroy drones with jet engines,” the president concluded.

Один из консервативных иранских священнослужителей заявил, что лидер страны одобрил соглашение о прекращении огня, но предупредил, что оно не будет соблюдаться и боевые действия продолжатся, сообщает Iran International.
В пятницу во время пятничной молитвы в Мешхеде имам Ахмад Аламолхода сказал: «Лидер [Моджтаба Хаменеи] разрешил Высшему совету национальной безопасности принять соглашение о прекращении огня, но также заявил бойцам, что оно ложное и противник его не соблюдает».

Проведение переговоров о прекращении войны связано с соблюдением США обязательств по прекращению огня на всех фронтах, и, в частности в Ливане, заявил пресс-секретарь МИД Ирана Исмаил Багаи.
Багаи решительно осудил преступления, совершенные Израилем в Ливане.
«Прекращение войны в Ливане является неотъемлемой частью соглашения о прекращении огня, выдвинутого Пакистаном, и, как открыто заявил премьер-министр этой страны, США взяли на себя обязательство остановить войну на всех фронтах, в том числе в Ливане. Любой шаг или позиция, противоречащие этому обязательству, будут расцениваться как несоблюдение Соединенными Штатами своих обязательств», - сказал он.
Багаи также сделал заявление относительно времени и места проведения ожидаемых переговоров:
«Правительство Пакистана пригласило обе стороны посетить Исламабад для проведения переговоров. В настоящее время этот вопрос рассматривается и планируется. Однако, без сомнения, проведение любых переговоров зависит от получения гарантий того, что США выполнят свои обязательства по прекращению огня на всех фронтах».

🇨🇳 China Plans South China Sea Rocket Launch
China's Jielong-3 rocket is scheduled to lift off at 7:30pm Saturday from the Dong Fang Hang Tian Gang, a converted barge operating in international waters of the South China Sea. The 31-metre solid-fuelled rocket was developed by the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology for commercial missions.
The launch marks the Jielong-3's first long-distance, cross-sea deployment, having travelled from Haiyang in Shandong province to the South China Sea. Since its maiden flight in 2022, the rocket has conducted 10 sea launches from near-coastal waters in the Yellow Sea and South China Sea.
Launching from the South China Sea offers lower-latitude advantages, including an additional velocity boost from Earth's rotation and a wider debris drop zone away from populated areas. A US aerospace analyst noted that sea launches are gaining broader attention as land-based spaceports face capacity constraints from increasing flight rates.

Очевидно, что смягчение мер только окончательно добьёт сдерживающий эффект и развяжет руки рецидивистам. Но в сегодняшней Германии это уже стандартный рефлекс: если система не справляется с хаосом, она просто переименовывает его в новую норму.

Namibian President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah announced during her State of the Nation Address that a joint declaration between Namibia and Germany regarding the 1904–1908 Ovaherero and Nama genocide is now within reach and could be finalised before the end of the year. The address also covered priorities in education, energy, investment, and agriculture.
Negotiations between Namibia and Germany over the genocide, in which tens of thousands of Ovaherero and Nama people were killed under German colonial rule, have been ongoing for years, with a 2021 agreement previously rejected by affected communities as insufficient.

🔻 Пока в Китае стремятся к установлению мира в Тайваньском проливе через переговоры с тайваньской оппозицией, на острове не питают иллюзий относительно договорнячка. Военные продолжают готовиться к худшему сценарию. Так, 9 апреля армейское командование обороны острова Пэнху провело комплексные учения «Чжэньцзян», направленные на проверку готовности подразделений к ведению активной обороны на случай наступательных действий НОАК.
В ходе маневров организовывалась разведка, развёртывание сил, отрабатывались вопросы отражения высадки китайского десанта с воздуха и со стороны Тайваньского пролива, а также имитировался бой за контроль побережья.
На подготовительном этапе применялись дроны для отслеживания обстановки в районах предполагаемых действий противника и целеуказания огневым средствам поражения.
В ходе ведения плотного заградительного огня по морским и воздушным целям применялись танки M60A3, бронетранспортёры CM21, 105-мм и 155-мм артиллерийские гаубицы, 120-мм миномёты, противотанковые ракетные комплексы «Джавелин» и спаренные зенитные системы «Стингер», а также пулеметы M240, M85, Т74 и 40-мм гранатометы.
