With current jet fuel expected to run out between the second and third week of May—including the last shipments arriving by sea from the Persian Gulf—Europe's strategic reserves risk being insufficient to allow flights in the height of summer in several areas.
Only two countries have emergency reserves for 90 days, while most would not survive a crisis lasting more than 30 days.
Some countries have as many as 8-10 days of autonomy before running out.

▪️Инициатива «Мост мира» продолжает способствовать диалогу и прямому взаимодействию между представителями гражданского общества Азербайджана и Армении. В этот раз армянская делегация прибыла в Азербайджан по сухопутной границе, пересекла делимитированный и демаркированный участок и прошла все соответствующие процедуры пограничного и паспортного контроля.
Диалог между представителями гражданского общества проходит в рамках согласованной двусторонней мирной повестки, принятой на трехстороннем саммите лидеров Азербайджана, Армении и США, состоявшемся 8 августа 2025 года в Вашингтоне.
▪️В повестку встречи входят обсуждения текущего состояния мирного процесса, деятельности участников Инициативы «Мост мира» в своих странах и достигнутых результатов, а также ситуации в регионе.
▪️Отдельные сессии будут посвящены продвижению мира на уровне общества и укреплению доверия на следующих этапах мирного процесса.

Islamist militant groups Boko Haram and the Islamic State West Africa Province launched coordinated overnight attacks on multiple locations in Nigeria's northeastern Borno state, killing a brigadier general and several other soldiers. The Nigerian military said the assault on the military base was ultimately repelled.
Northeastern Nigeria has faced persistent jihadist insurgency for over a decade, with Borno state remaining the epicentre of violence carried out by both ISWAP and Boko Haram factions.

🇵🇹🇺🇦 Sybiha: Grateful to Portugal for its readiness to join the Enlarged Partial Agreement to practically launch the Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine.
Already 15 member states have expressed readiness to join the agreement. Only one more is necessary to meet the legal minimum for a vote at the meeting of the Committee of Ministers in Chisinău in May.
We thank Croatia, Estonia, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Moldova, the Netherlands, Norway, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and Costa Rica outside of Europe, for their support of the Tribunal.
